Thanks a lot for this video. Definitely the best one out there explaining how to assemble the throttle carburetor. This video helped me get my 700c Thruster to where it needs to be. I don't know what I would have done without it. Looks like when I screwed the cap back on the carb, the spring was bent slightly so it wasn't giving me the pull and click sound like you showed in your video.

great video!! very helpful!! one thing i have seen on all these sights is the failure to mention that the wheel bearings in the rear wheel don't last more than a few hours of riding. had to replace mine twice now. looking for a new type of wheel that can take this type of pressure and punishment.

Your wheel bearings were not adjusted correctly and/or they need more of the proper grease. Before my motorized Huffy Cranbrook was stolen, I had over 1,000 miles on the bike-John in Texas

Would you have to put straight handlebars on a road bike for the throttle assembly to mount? Would the motor mounts mount to the skinner frame beams of a 10 spd bike?

I have way too much slack in the cable and I don't have though room on the barrel adjuster. Is my housing not long enough? What can I do?

My bike won't start every time I go down hill for a start I drop the clutch and give it gas but it sounds deep pitched like it's not combusting I changed the spark plug and the carburetor. Any tips?

Cant say number of turns. You adjust it till it idles where you want it. Simple as that

I put on a new carb yesterday it ran like crazy. This morning it wouldn't start. All day I've been unable to get it started. I've checked its getting fuel all the way to bowl so its getting fuel. Someone please help.

It works great..... I bought a coaster bike ( a huffy) and took the screw that holds the back fender thing in place (I took it off because the chain was hitting it). I am away right now, but I will tell you what size drill I used ( short term memory, what do expect I'm only 14 Lol). Thanks- Alex

We have 3 wires coming out of the motor and only 2 from the coil. The motor wires are black, blue and white. Out of the coil is black and blue. I have no spark. What is the white wire for?

you can connect lights to the white wire

Sometimes you have to order a shorter throttle cable because the longer ones you can screw out every adjustment and it's still too long

Might be you need to adjust the idle. the idle screw is on the left side of the carb

hi every time i rev my engine it takes really long for the motor to return to idle. i tried everything. throttle is perfect and there is no manifold leak. but when i spray starting fluid on where the carb connects to the manifold, it kills it and sometimes revs it u. any suggestions???
