Brand New Minarelli Wildcat not even mounted yet >>>>> ya think that adjusting ring under the clutch tree is kosher from the "RunWell" factory it came from? After-all, the entire clutch assembly needed lube, so that's why I'm asking. You helped! 👍

Thanks for these videos man. Honestly your videos are the best for someone starting out. I've built three and even when I built my first I came to your videos. Your are a great commentary provider. And I also like your tattoos. Keep it up your an inspiration for me and my channel. Although I do not have alot of knowledge like you, your still a great person for this community!!

Does it matter if my power supply cord that I connect is only a 10A/250V?
@MatthewHelander6 күн бұрын
I'm questioning springs are hardened and not annealed , as that's saved for the builder after setting the spring sizing..

Yes indeed. Coasters are not ideal for over 30mph, however they are fine for putting around. The fast bikes use discs

7 years ago I got my first kit, Skyhawk 66/80 bike it was great, cruiser frame I cleaned it up and painted it and greased my wheel bearings and such… I would take it from north Florida to Thomasville Georgia every Thursday in the summertime, it’s now a retired pastured relic sitting in my rusty shed, I put golly near 15,000 miles on that bike I never had a problem bad enough to stop me, 4 years ago I bought a 4 stroke 50 kit and made another cruiser bike, I got about 5 or 6 thousand miles on it, I did run 32:1 with 87 ethanol gas cheapest oil I could find, the 4 stroke I run 40:1 with marvel mystery oil, one thing I can tell you for a fact is you get better performance running 40:1, but it’s hard on the bearings and seals and the top end won’t get as many miles before wearing out completely, by the time I had hit 15k taking it to church every Thursday it was very weak and would barely to get 6,000rpm on the 44 tooth sprocket, the seals were leaking into the magneto and clutch… used to be silver and it was caked in grease and the teeth on the sprocket were almost chewed out, never expected it to go that far and I’m sure it would run with a new top end! But it’s been sitting for almost 3 years and it’s pastured at this point.

No. I no longer offer them. The drive roller assemblies that I was buying became too sloppy and the rollers were often extremely misaligned causing a lot of work to get sorted

How significant is the reduction is low end torque. Does the engine lug at higher gear and lower speeds (which it didn't do with the 15t sprocket)? How has the riding experience changed while riding with a pillion, does it feel weaker to pull?

That last comment did not come out right I have a yd100 with tall monkey handlebars I believe they called so I'm trying to figure out what length throttle cable line and clutch cable line I should be using so I'm basically trying to find out how you measure the length when taking these tall handlebars into consideration should I order the standard 59 inches and 51 inches respectively or go longer
@HughesMotorized23 күн бұрын
I measure just the black part of the cable. End to end. So from the cable inlet on the throttle to the carb inlet
@jamese.turner159224 күн бұрын
Love your videos Eugene, I have a yd100 handlebars I think they're called so I'm wondering what my length of throttle cable and clutch cable should be is the standard 59 inches and 51 inches respectively if so what should I get for length how do you measure this is my question

2022 got the same kit ,lubed up transmission chain and bearings and never had a problem before I recently upgraded to belt drive ,upgrades are essential arch mount spring loaded chain tensioner hub mount rear sprocket #41 chain , those chains supplied with kit are junk custom air cleaner & modified exhaust, there's a lot of things you can do to make them safer, more reliable, faster if desired but regular maintenance is a must ,Thanks Hughes motorized for all the great tips and videos, miles of smiles 😃 👍
