Thanks Duke! I was thinking about something similar when Bear and I were out for our morning walk this morning. He came to me (9years ago)at a year old as a rescue with NO MANNERS - just shark teeth :) Through DTG I've been rewarded with the best canine companion yet. Each morning I snap on a prong collar while he wags his tail and his eyes light up. I then connect the leash to his flat collar. I haven't used the prong in about 8 years but we put the tool on each time we head out for leash work or a walk. He knows this particular tool means lots of new sights and scents. I remember in the beginning messaging you in desperation because I couldn't get near his neck to place the collar on without being mouthed to pieces. You instructed me to condition him to the collar with food. It worked like a charm :) Our vet loves to see Bear come in. He says he can count on 1 hand the number of GSD's who allow him to check their ears, gums and rears. Bear is a very balanced dog thanks to DTG.

Great work! I wish i could get my rescue Shepherd less defensive around other dogs.
