Nice idea on arms against bench I did feel barbell wiggle today for first time I tried this. Hoping stuff I've ready/watched and this exercise helps improve squat depth/weight and improve knee pain and reduce chances of injuring hamstrings. I'm incredibly off balance quads 2x stronger than hamstrings and I feel its causing me some knee pain need to work on backside muscles asap!

Machines put you in weird set positions. I would say avoid it and use a bench . If a barbell isn’t available use a dumbbell or a kettle bell

I just realized that I'm doing a kind of hip thruster. What I do is a push up progression with table rows. I do one push up then one table row, then two and two and keep going all the way up to ten and ten. Then back down again. After those I do that kind of hip thruster off of a milk crate with me hanging off the table row bar. I drag myself towards the crate with my arms almost straight towards the crate. Going by this video my legs are too close together and the milk crate is probably too low as well. The thinking behind doing this exercise was to try and strengthen behind my left knee. I broke it badly about five years ago and it gets weak way before my right knee. Walking helps strengthen it, but I'd like to try and find some sort of exercise to do to try and keep it strong. Will go to the search section on your channel to see if you have anything there . If you don't, would you mind doing a video on an exercise to help people target an area like that. PS the dog was brilliant, he wants to be near you.
