I got the same pallet buster. It's the easiest way to get them apart without messing up the wood
@henryrodgers34095 жыл бұрын
What a great idea . You don't want to be using pressure treated wood for feeders . Love that pallet buster . Pallets are free all over . Many pallets are in perfect condition but many companies are only allowed to use them once . Some kind of safety thing . Your crazy if you pay for a pallet . Lots of companies have them stacked out front for you to help yourself . Good price on that pallet buster .

On our first bus conversion we used pallet wood we got a ton of pallet wood for free from a storage facility that shipped things. I was thinking you could use a wood stain like deck wood to preserve the pallet. Maybe a fun project your girls could paint it with paint and make it pretty LOL I also thought if you put two pieces of wood on the side and a cross piece in the middle and a piece of tarp you can make a raise umbrella for days when it rains. Just a thought lol. I love that you have your little girl help out that is so awesome. Till next time, God bless.

If you ask at Walmart or Home Depot in my area, they allow you to take the non painted wood pallets. The white pallets.

Very nice! It works well. I wouldn't trust my horse, Honey, with it . . . 😜 I recently built a hay feeder out of free pallet wood for my new goats. I was fortunate that my pallet source also had some free pressure treated lumber out a couple times. I used some of it to make feet for my feeder so it would last a little longer. And yes, I posted a video about the build.

You can’t find free pallets anywhere anymore. Every place I go to that has pallets want $10-$15 each. So many people are using them for DIY projects now.
@melissafehr32323 жыл бұрын
Hi I was just tempting to make this feeder I can't seem to line up the pallets evenly....or does one side stick out about 3". They are the same size pallets I checked to make sure....

good day . there is a deposit on euro pallets , which is why companies want the used pallets with EPAL & EUR (euro) on them to be branded and are therefore NOT FREE . the pallets without those branding are in one-off or consumable pallets . these pallets are usually FREE (Euro pallet deposit is an alternative for the valuation of used euro pallets and is somewhere between € 2 and 4.50 each. Companies can return their unwanted piles of euro pallets to a pallet dealer for a fee. The amount that you get for this depends, among other things, on the condition of the pallet and the demand within the market Pallet traders are free to determine the amount they offer for the pallets, usually the price minus transport is calculated (source: Google). Tip : if you grab 4 pallets you can also make a climbing device for the goats 1 pallet to climb / walk upwards diagonally, 2 pallets between them, and 1 again to be able to walk / climb downwards diagonally. We wish you a good, happy and healthy New Year from Terneuzen in the Netherlands. Kind regards Hollandduck from the Netherlands. ( source of translations: Google translate )
