Our kit came with one medium gauge wire and two heavy gauge wires. We're not sure what the heavy gauge wires are for and we need an additional medium for the front wheel. Are we missing aomething? Great video btw. Thanks.

Ours is the same and we assumed the heavy guage were for the landing gear and we have ust been struggling to bend it properly. What did you figure out?

Wonderful kit! I'm assembling the latch, has anyone done the latch with springs? I'm thinking of going with 2 small extension springs, one on each side. Thoughts?

It would be amazing if the flite test guys carried on with their idea of spreading and encouraging people to get into the hobbie, helping others to learn to build and fly RC planes, sharing free plans not to make a profit but for the love of this hobbie 😞 I am dying to build the F14 Tomcat master series but unfortunately there are no free plans available 😞

Of course it's about the dollar. Nothing is free. The #1 objective of any business is to make a profit. Otherwise why be in business? That's business 101 on the first day of class. They are not a non-profit. They have to make a living & pay the bills. FT has MANY free plans available on the net. They are quite easy to find doing a simple search. Respectfully, are you guys communist or socialist? Your approach is something straight out of Karl Marx's book: The Communist Manifesto. I suggest everyone read this book whether you are or not. It'll explain a lot about evil of socialism & how lucky we are in the USA to practice a capitalist free market. Stay safe & well, please!

40in wingspan, 30in long, little larger than a simple cub by about 2-3 inches, foamboard is their new makerfoam which seems a bit thicker than the old brown suff

I just got one of these kits and want to make it like a rv7 taildragger so I am going to make up some 3d printable landing gear for it, will post if I get it working

We do not have plans to make it a tail dragger. This is due to the actual plane did not have that option

@@EURIPODES FAA has nothing to do with plans, as others have said, the money talks. I used to download their plans and print them to make the models. No longer do that. As some say, find them elsewhere.
