This must be on the PC because we dont get the oil industry buildings in xbox. We do not get specialized buildings like that. Pretty cool though. I was trying to look up 2 things One being, what does it mean with Oil Avaliable and oil used? Does oil available mean how much I have or how much I can drill up with the tiles/land I have purchased. Does oil used mean how much I've drilled up or how much I've consumed with machinery and selling etc. Second, how do I fix the "not enough raw materials" and not operating buildings in my industry after it takes off? Is it traffic jams or what because the traffic doesnt seem to congested here.

I didnt even have to do all this. I just draw the roads, zoned it, painted ,labeled it and it built the oil districk for me. This is because I placed it on an area with heavy oil without the dlc.

How do you get the option of specialised industries icon on your tab? I have marked the oil district but don't see any option of choosing which oil buildings to build. Some mod I have to add?

You need the cities skylines industries dlc

Question: do you have unlimited resources turned on? Because that oil goes away FAST without that option activated.

Yes I do! It really annoys me when oil or ore runs out. But that’s just me.
