Great video! It's nice to see how each one of you thinks about building your arsenal and giving all perapectives like 1 handed, 2 handed and a lefty. For example what Bark said about having to think about the oil differently as a lefty and why he's leaning more to strong reactive ones. Also Jimoo, I like the fact that you have 2 urethane balls as the UC3 seems to give more options and flexibility. Keep up the quality content!

My current general, go anywhere arsenal would be: Brunswick Wine Rhino - My go to for spares. Goes straight when I need or bends a little for when I need to pick up 3-4 split combos. Brunswick Stellar - Great mid to late transition piece. Strong and stable enough to play out while also having enough angle to move in. Brunswick Knock Out - Cleaner solid sym that doesn't bog down when the heads start to get beat up. Brunswick Tenacity - My go to asym pearl when I need to move inside of 30. DV8 Pitbull Bite - Big, strong solid asym for the rare times I need to create hook. Radical Katana Shiranui Shinuchi - An overseas release. All the hook of the Pitbull, all the angle of the Tenacity. Has a modified hybrid version of the Tenacity cover and is really great at fitting when nothing else will. Sometimes I'll switch the Katana for other things, depending on need, like the Radial Results, DV8 Vandal, Brunswick Vintage Phantom, or really anything I have that will fit that "do something different" role on a condition.

Hello guys! Love your you tube channel videos. I recently watched your video on how to find my bowling stats on my own. I am a league bowler in Utah and wanting to increase my averages and look for an arsenal that fits me. I asked my pro shop guy about it but all he would really say is “get a pearl with a symmetric core. They work well here”. I’ve purchased 5 balls now and he has never once asked me what my PAP is, or to watch me bowl to help me buy the right ball etc. After watching your video, I had a friend of mine help me and this is what I came up with. PAP = 5 and ¼ inches over and 1 inch down. (right handed one hand bowler with thumb hole) REV Rate = 380 avg (I can rev it more or less if needed but this is with my standard swing) Ball Speed = 16-18 Axis rotation looks to be 70-75 (id say closer to 75) Axis Tilt looks to be 15-20 (I’d say closer to 20) The Alley I bowl at, says, they oil all their lanes the same, every time before league, so fresh oil and they tell me it is a 40’ pattern, with medium oil called the Christmas tree. I heard Jungo say on this video that knowing this information can greatly help me pick the right ball. One that will fit me well and how Simu? Does not really use pearl balls very often because they do not really fit how he throws the ball. Based on my info and the lane conditions can you give me some good recommendations? Thinking about buying three new balls if necessary. One for the fresh, then one that I can step down to as the lanes break down that may have similar characteristics, just weaker so I can continue playing my same lines and then possibly another step down from there. I have a spare ball (Storm ICE) and play in a three game league, so most of the time two balls are enough for the three games. You guys are awesome! Thanks so much! Vince in Utah

My arsenal changes depending if I'm bowling on house, sport or a tournament, but if I had to do a general list, it would be: 1. Proton Physix - Strong but doesn't burn up like other solid asyms I've thrown. Still has plenty of energy and pop downlane. Can play straighter or open up the lanes. Absolutely love this ball and it's versatility. 2. RST X2 - Took the spot of my Halo Pearl. Super clean when the fronts get torched and I have to go left, but can make the corner from steep angles. 3. Idol Synergy - Perfect step down from my X2. Still clean but not as strong off the spot if my X2 starts to overhook. 4. Hyped Pearl - If I feel my Synergy is just a touch too much still, this has been my go to late in the block. Really good ball for the price. 5. Avenger - An old Ebonite urethane from the early 2000's, but still in great shape. Mainly used for shorter patterns or sometimes spares. 6. Ice - Storms spare ball. Pretty self explanatory lol. Also being a high rev player, this is in my bag at all times. Two other balls would be the Hustle RAP and the og Idol.

Being a stroker and being a speed dominant player my 6 bag arsenal often leads me to favor asyms quiet a bit. So in my 6 bag arsenal I have a Proton with my thumb in the MB, RST-X1, dark code, zen, phaze 3 and a mix. If I could pick 8 I would throw in my iq solid and iq emerald.

Great to see what others are using and how they build and you can see some are brand loyal and some are a mix to cover all boards and styles of play. My current arsenal below 1. Reality use this for as long as I can until it wont finish due to burn 2. Axiom Solid (2000 surface) still a strong core 3. Zen so versatile 4. Ebonite Allure good pearl ball for mid to late game usage that keeps shape and has continuous motion at the back end to finish. 5. Radical Squatch Solid good core, great for most houses and allows me to have a benchmark ball that rolls true to my skill so I can do drills. 6.Invisaball for Spares (ALL WHITE looks like a very large cue ball) Extra balls I have for occasional or specialty use Hyped Pearl @1000 not a good fit with the hockey stick like backend for me its 4 sale..lol and Rubicon for short patterns with heavy oil Future adds to mix in and out Altered Reality, Phase II or Idol Helios ,Hustle Camo

My arsenal is: Crux Prime- daddy strong ball, pin down, smooth Pro Motion- faster and more continuous than the prime, but since it shares the same cover, gives me a similar look but different shape Zing Hybrid- love this ball. Good at playing straight, hooking the lane, slow, fast, whatever. Great ball. Web Tour Hybrid- pretty much a better IQTS, a little stronger and more pop and continuous downlane but round and reliable. Hustle PBR- have some polish compound on this one, let’s me play over the top of the friction and skate over the fronts. I’d switch this out with a Kentucky PH if I was on any sport condition C300 white dot. Yep it goes straight Two balls I’d bring if I could bring 8- Storm Sure Lock and UC3.

Really like these type of videos and enjoy seeing what others use. Purchased the Motiv Pride and RG UC3 just before Christmas and haven't thrown them in league yet. That said using the Reality, 900 Honey Badger Extreme Solid, Pride, HyRoad X, UC3 and a Storm Mix spare ball. Have a Super Sonic and Honey Badger Extreme Pearl I can use depending on the oil pattern.

For some reason, I don't match up to any asymmetric solids from Storm and my ball driller is now a Storm rep (used to be Brunswick hence the Mastermind Scholar and Quantum Bias below). So, for better or for worse, I stopped carrying one. I used to use a Brunswick Quantum Bias as that ball...but it has lost carry and several boards over the years and I finally retired it from my bag and have yet to find something to replace it that I match up with. Maybe I need to look at some strong, dull hybrids. But, here is my bag today. I'm right handed. 1. Axiom Solid 2. Axiom Pearl 3. So I’m a one handed that doesn’t use a thumb and my 6 ball Arsenal is altered reality for when they are oily and I have something to trust get down lane in the pocket. Then ball down is my trend 2. It’s really smooth and something I can throw on heavy medium patterns. Then I have my omega crux. Really great ball for my. It’s like my bench mark ball that I use on medium to short patterns. Then I have a hy-road Pearl that I pull out that will really turn that corner hard when the lanes are burnt. Then I have a trend that I use to play straighter and still have it hit hard and hold it’s like finally I have my ice spare ball. If I did 8 I would add my phaze 2 for when I need something that I trust on anything and my proton physics as another strong ball to hit hard.

I was looking at the Proton Physix or Reality for the top spot in the bag. My PSO suggested Reality as a speed dominate stroker style bowler. Drilled it pin down, 4x3x1, love the ball !!!!! Don't know how the Reality would compare with the Jackal legacy. I just purchased my first Motiv product, the Pride. Only thrown 2 games with it but tossed 202 (185 avg) OTB moving all over the lane to see what I could do with it.

I used to be part of a bowling league a couple of months ago I'm just bowling for fun now on regular house shots but I definitely want to join a league again and then go to some tournaments sometime something local. But my six ball collection would be proton, would like to rejuvenate my nuclear cell, but really liking the altered reality, definitely like the hyroad original. I have my hustle RAP but thinking about hustle PBR, and 8 ball spare. I'm trying to discover if I can fit the new Nova in there or I really like the UFO alert.

Maybe a burner because it would go under the Phaze 2 then you can go under the benchmark ball if you need something weaker that’s not just Urethane

@@henrypham6936 Well I'm still learning them all. But I guess it's dependant on what you are missing. I use ZM for wen the Dark Code/Proton is too aggressive. Dark Code has been working great for me.

I know when looking at the Stats they're Stating 15 & 16 pound balls. For a kid how lightweight can U go before it acts differently? Or does it matter like a 12 or 13 pounders will those preform as advertised? That's about the limits where he can control for multiple games. Thanks

For most companies, balls that are less than 14 pounds will have different cores in them. This is to achieve the lighter weight for the ball, but it comes at the price of less performance.

I'm a simple man. Strongest ball = going in the arsenal. I actually just carry 4 but don't really do tournament stuff or bigger formats usually just a handful of games so I just keep the proton physix dark code and tropical surge and something random depending on my mood like the trend 2 or phaze 3 lol. I have a mix for if I really feel troubled and need something straight but usually can flatten out the surge for that. I want to see where the nova lands for me because it's looking like a solid pick for me. Surprised jimoo has the proton though with as strong as that is.

I'm a two hander but with a medium rev rate. Still learning (and healing as I post this), but if I could have my six ball Arsenal: Proton PhysiX, Phaze II, Phaze V, Hyped Pearl (own), Idol Helios at 4000 grit , and Urethane (not sure which one for me though) or spare (would like the Jade/Purple/Steel Mix)
