I am a super-Senior (83 yrs young)and I have a slow 11 mph ball speed. With that said I just have three balls in my arsenal. A storm Phaze 2, a Pitch blue urethane and a Storm Ice for spares. I am happy with my selection for league on 42 ft House shots. Any thoughts?

reminds me of Belmo's google glass video years ago. This would be cool linked with something like spectro for targeting practice. And whilst I'm not keen on Meta, they do offer reactive and clear lenses and also prescriptions

From the glasses perspective, it seems you look at the boards just before release. If so, I'm glad I'm not the only one😅

Which ball would you recommend for a more straight up style with a lot of speed? Ghost or widow 2.0 hybrid with the symmetrical core (12-13 Lb)??

Man this just shows how much I really have to learn about bowling. I hardly every play 4th arrow for anything other than my 6/10 pin spares. I always end up playing around 3rd and having my breakpoint be around 8 or 7.

its actually kinda funny how similar the balls are. They're almost on top of each other, very subtle differences. surface and coverstock are way more impactful than layout.

Like #500!!! Good video Jungo. To answer your question, I have not had any Hy Roads... I am still fairly new to SPI... i have the Duo, Motiv Black Venom, Hustle M-M, Pitch Black for the middle / bottom of my bag.

DV8 Chill looks good, but I have a Motiv Black Venom for that spot in my bag... Anchor position is my favorite for league, but any position is good for tournament play.

not a big deal with todays reactive balls ....spend $200 for ball....$45 for the drilling ..set ball at foul line and shove it with your foot...ball rolls down lane a bit..hit dry ass lane and jumps 15 boards or more..I learned on wood lanes,hard rubber or plastic balls,and even on the modern lanes I can shoot 200 with my old equipment...teach how to bowl first,then after you learn basics ,teach how to do other stuff...yesterday I shot 210 using a house ball and was making it curve like I needed.

I love symmetric solids. I'm a high speed and high rev lefty and I love that continuation and the big move when the back end dry up. Turmoil Solid and Closer solid are my favorites.

Finally a Barks review for us lefties!!! I am very interested in this ball and the shelf appeal is nuts! Track out did themselves. I was concerned when I saw this review and how much the Cypher was hooking. Still I think this will be a house shot demon. Good stuff Barks.
@ripvanrevs5 күн бұрын
My first two games out of the box practicing on house shot was 258 and 257. I was laying the ball down on 35 with a break point around 7. It was a lot stronger than I thought it would be. I have a vid up of those two games.

I prefer symetric pearls and hybrids. I’m using my GB4 hybrid a lot, and probably going to pick up a Troublemaker Pearl soon. I don’t seem to do well with asymmetrical balls or solids. I do have a 3D Offset, which is a pearl but looks closer to a solid. Plus it’s barely asymmetric.
