It's my first time building anything this large and complicated. Before finding your video, I had gotten to the point where I had a stump, and had no idea how to move forward from there. I checked out a couple other videos on this, but I found your advice to be the most helpful so far, especially when it comes to making the large branches have more smooth looking curves. I am still far from finishing since I'm playing on a survival server and need to continuously gather more wood (and leaves for later), but I'm quite proud of how the main branch has turned out so far. Genuinely that "struts, rings, and arches" approach is so helpful in cutting this overwhelming task into manageable subtasks and made curves look so much better than they do in the lower trunk part (before I found your video). It definitely could look a little smoother in certain areas, but I think that's something that comes with practice since I feel like I'm still building that sort of intuition for how arches should be shaped to give the exact curve I'm looking for, but I can confidently say that I do not feel nearly as clueless as I did before seeing this, so thank you so much my guy.

@@ErrolThree so it's been a couple months since then and well, unfortunately haven't got to start the project due to massive setbacks like the server owner not wanting to host it anymore and such But recently another friend started up a survival realms world, which we played on instead Unfortunately all the jungles are extremely far away even with nether travel, so I was thinking of building this mega tree + community in a pseudo jungle I'll be making myself at a forest biome near my existing base. Sadly it won't have the lush green grass and leaves like in a real jungle (no world edit), and I was wondering if it'll be detrimental to the presentation of the build or not? Also I feel like I didn't express this enough before, but I really really really like this video, I'd come back plenty of time to watch it all again and be inspired. It's really nice to see and the editing is very well done, keep up the good work!
