If you make the chassis 1 stud higher the standard wheels can fit, thanks for the tutorial Edit from 24/7/24: I can't belive I ended up making this and it worked, cause I used standard drivers, but this is the most simple thomas moc to build cause its mostly standard parts besides the curved parts, the tiles and train related parts, also yes the standard wheels did fit the model by moving the running board 1 plate up

The ones I have on this model are from a store on shapeways but they are worse quality and very expensive. Buy from big ben bricks, it's high quality and much cheaper

What colour does the body have to be? Blue, sky blue, dark azure Cus I'm using studio to get the parts so that ik from the link and idk what blue is it?

Mine is standard blue, any shade really works so long as you have the right shape parts

This is a way too small to be motorised. You'll have to power some rolling stock

This is a years old model, the build itself is very out of date and I didn't discover lining tape of number stickers at the time. Check my more recent MOC of Thomas to see how I made him

Anyone can tell me which part that front face is? I got myself a 3x3 inverted radar dish (43898) but that doesn't work, it doesn't reach the pin because it is too concave.. Got the rest of the parts together already, it's supposed to be a birthday or christmas present for the little one.. :) (which one depends on when the wheels get here from the states ;) ). Any suggestions, also links if anyone makes lego-compatible actual Thomas faces, or has a 3D print file, everything is appriciated!
