In this video I show you how to fit your weed membrane, level off your rod system base plates, How to use a magnetic drill, securing your 4 x 3 C24 base frame to the rods, and finally chopping the excess height from the rods.

It’s called a Forstner bit not forester bit sorry Steve

Excellent as usual Steve. I've just started my own little 5x3m cabin - following your guidelines etc (thank you!) However - when I bought my 24x10mm plate washers they were a) not galvanised and b) The "24mm" plate washers actually had square 28mm holes - which I thought made them a bit baggy! So a) I painted them all with red oxide paint (galvanised ones are available apparently) and b) I purchased some 24mm x 4mm thick round washers for the plates to sit on instead of just sitting on the nuts if you know what I mean. Are you plate washers the same as mine or are yours galvanised with smaller holes please? Cheers mate!!!
