Hello. How long were you in the uk for you to afford to get a phone on contract? I have been in touch he UK for a year now, with a credit score of over 900(Experian). Do you think I would qualify?

I went to Samsung Website and bought the phone directly from there. No documents required.

Yeah, so u just hv to wait a bit longer. In the mean time as ur Bank if they can give u a credit card. You can start building your credit score from there

So, one has to open a savings account with another bank and not the same bank with your current acc?

You can actually have both accounts with one bank my dear. But personally, I decided to have a current account with one bank and I opened a savings account with another bank

Experian only 😉 TransUnion / Equifax scores don't increase much unless you really live in uk for 6 years.
