Do you need a ethernet cable or just wireless WiFi?

You can use either, it just depends on what model of Raspberry Pi you have. Some older versions don't have WiFi cards built in to them.

No, you could set up a Java edition server as well!! But Nukkit is cool because you can play cross-platform. As long as you’re not hosting tons and tons of people you should be good to go!👍🏼 Thanks for watching!!😄

@@ZakJaeb You can also play cross platform on java as well, through a plugin called Geyser, so you just need to get a server jar that implements the bukkit api (I'd recommend Paper) and then drop the Geyser plugin into the plugins folder and configure as needed and you get a Java and Bedrock server in one.

I'm using NoIP so that I can have friends on different networks play as well, and it seems to be working to some degree- I can add the server, and see the ping, but when I try to join, it says "Unable to connect to world." I haven't had issues like this on my java server that I've run before on my same pi. Do you know why this is?

Is that always the latest BE edition? I would love for my kids who play on an iPad to connect to the server, but the server always needs to be updated to the latest version in order for the iPad app version to be able to connect to it.

Few things I want to ask Server side: 1. Is there a way to upload minecraft world files for the server to use? 2. What commands/configurations would i need to set up in order to give myself operator? 3. Due to the pi being a less powerful computer, does that mean that the world wont be able to be infinite? Hardware side: 1. What upgrades would i need on order for it to be able to host about 20 players. 2. Would i need wifi capibilities in order to run the server? 3. (This isnt really a question) you might want to get a cooling system as the pi can get pretty hot, i would assume if it is running a server constantly it would get very hot and could possibly either break the pcb or melt the legos.

I did this and it.. kind of worked. It's a working server and I can join it but mobs and animals don't spawn even though the properties say they should, when I spawn mobs in myself, they don't move, and I have no control over the world.
