the beauty behind this is that the Jews were to consider these birds unclean or unwanted and thus not to be eaten under any circumstances. Once God declared the ravens unclean, no Jew would have anything to do with them. They were not to be eaten under any circumstances. And given their scavenging nature, that prohibition was actually a blessing to the Jews. And that brings us back to the story of Elijah. When the Lord told him to go and hide himself by the brook Cherith on the east side of the Jordan, he also promised send ravens to feed him. I have no doubt that the prophet was not exactly thrilled with that promise. It’s hard enough to have to hide yourself in a desolate region. Far worse was the news that he would be fed twice a day by unclean birds. The whole thing was unusual because ravens normally care only for their own. Under no circumstances would they bring food to a man, much less do it twice a day. ...and that is the magic behind that statement to reinstate that blessings don't always come from where you want them to come from. god bless

😑 There's no room for Jesus in this church. It's dead as a door knob. The Holy Spirit doesn't visit there. It's filled with the spirit of antichrist (greed, pride, lust...). 😉 Mind you, it's all disguised as christianish culture. They're not fooling God or demons. The prosperity gospel they preach is pure heresy and as far removed from the Lord as the east is from the west. It cheapens the Holiness of God and grieves the Holy Spirit.
@sageforce93065 жыл бұрын
@@karinecarde1254 some people in these churches are dead and lost which is sad as the pastors only care about this life. Jesus died to get us to heaven and not to have us cling this world. The Bible says that in the last days people would gather around them preachers who tickle their ears.

I can’t believe it’s been almost 5 years since this interview first was uploaded. I remember watching it back in 2017, the year the interview took place. What stood out the most then is the same thing that stands out the most even now. Its when Jakes said to his son, “If it’s not the thing, it’ll be the thing that leads to the thing”. That has stuck with me so much since I first heard it. It is so true though. When the Bible says, “All things work together”, it means just that, ALL things.

I kind of put this video into a 'watch later' playlist until today. It's January 2022 and oh what I had missed. The miracle is not in what you have lost but what you have left. And I can't continue asking God for what he doesn't make. He makes trees not tables. God bless you Pst. Furtick and Bishop Jakes. soar

All the way from Kenya, the interview is just mind-blowing and elevating. "If you don’t do it now, you’ll never do it. Don’t miss the rhythm. You don’t control the rhythm. Do not miss your turn." Can't wait to read the book and share it widely.

It was such a blessing to be in the presence of so much wisdom. This interview changed the trajectory of my life. I am so glad to call Elevation home. Thank you, Bishop Jakes for your words of encouragement. Thank you, Pastor Steven, for preaching the Word with conviction and leading us to see what God can do through us. I will NEVER forget this night!

Agony of life is when you sit in a place of no movement. We get frustrated. We ought to be thankful and put up with a situation. We belong elsewhere but stuck here. Watching others take off. Imagine yourself in the air. You must leave behind loved ones that have not paid the price to go to the next dimension. You belong in the air.

Yes- I bought "Woman Art Thou Loosed" at a time when I was searching for a way out of a situation...it helped give me perspective on my situation and I was set free with that book. I didn't need my circumstances changed, I needed to change the way I saw the circumstances.
