Very clever to do this in a ratio style, because then it's actually easier to shop for certain items! And to organise one's wardrobe, too! Love the blouse you're wearing, very flattering colour!

Great suggestions! I like waking up and dressing up. It makes me feel really good about myself. I work from home and I can be in PJs all day but I have so many amazing pieces I want to wear them. Especially during this time I encouraged those who don't normally work from home to dress up. It will make you feel better. 💕

Actually found a fairly good dupe of the Tein trousers on H&M. You can go to Pant -section, use the filter for ’beige’ colour only, and the price of the pants should be 19,99€. They have a golden zipper on the side, but otherwise look the same. 😊 Bought them myself, and they feel soft and high quality. If anyone is interested...

Josie, I just love how you stop to hold your dog. So sweet and kind. I have two cats one is more affectionate than the other. So when my Pipen needs a hug or kiss, I always stop what I am doing and give him what he wants. The other cat is more of a self reliant He Man type. Tuffy just caught a big mouse this morning. A mouse who has been reeking havoc in our house for the last few weeks. My husband even bought a humane mouse trap. All the while Pipen was fast asleep, just a few feet away on our couch. Thanks for this video, it was very informative. I have had all of those types of jobs and now, I am about to retire and probably will only work part time. Not too sure what to do with my enormous wardrobe, we'll see how it goes. When this "Stay at Home" stuff is over, I am planning on going out to the theater, new restaurants and other fun things more often.

Yes! You're so smart! This is the most important thing to consider when building a wardrobe! Lots of influencer speak of "you always need this and that basic..." But it mostly doesn't fit to my lifestyle. I'm a mom of 4, with a part time job in an office (casual), sometimes meetings with a professional touch and I do a lot of different types of sports whenever possible: cycling (everywhere), running, walking, skating and skiing in winter. I definitely need so many different types of sports clothing and sporty casual tops for example in the office. It was an eye opener to think about my lifestyle first and then build my wardrobe!! Stay safe, give yourself a rest every now and then 🌹❤️ and thanks 🤗

Agreed with the social worker below, I'm a pediatric doctor in a hospital, so would be a mixture of 3 and 4: comfortable stretchy clothes and shoes, but with smart office style tops. The thing for me is that because I'm worried about contaminating my nice clothes (this was pre-covid, because now all I wear are scrubs to work), I avoid Reiss level prices or above for work wear. Banana Republic clothes and contemporary brands for bags have been a good balance of quality and price point for me, for work wear. There are so many wardrobe considerations, I'm impressed you came up with these broad applicable categories!

Doctor here. I really love dressing in style and looking preppy during my university years. Right now however, I wear scrubs-like uniform in work and simply can’t bother wearing statement pieces on my way in and out of the hospital - so the first closet option is more necessity than preference. I’m still trying to balance out my style, combining stylish with comfortable. Unfortunately I feel like I’m agreeing to some sad and unsatisfactory compromise. Hope to see some tips on similiar topics soon! Much love ❤️ and stay healthy!

Feeling inspired. My wardrobe is completely neglected and rebuilding it seems overwhelming. This break-down makes it feel slightly more manageable. Appreciate how you emphasise basics that go with everything - I’ve bought 3 white/neutrals and look forward to “stabilising” my wardrobe and get more use out of my “uncombineable” floral pieces. Would love to see a video on how to buy cardigans/sweaters. Tend to always go for the same style. Also, with more puffy sleeves, what type of sweaters can you wear on top?

The ratio approach that you provide here truly sparked my interest in being more selective in my style choices. It is practical, but it still leaves room to show personality. The Jimmy Choo heels are my newest fashion fantasy to dress up or down. Additionally, I would love to see more videos like this geared toward learning what color palettes work for different hair and skin colors, learning fabrics and proportions as you have curated your wardrobe as you get older and more knowledgable, etc. Correction: I did want to point out the Type 4 ratio equaled more than %100. Work staples and casual basics should be 20% each instead of 30%. Just a note.

I've been in a work at home mode for a while, long before the quarantine, and I hate seeing my lovely, carefully curated pieces, collect dust in the wardrobe. I do understand that my wardrobe is just not working for me. But those items have been so painstakingly collected over the years. Makes me want to change my lifestyle so much to be able to take them out and show to the world 😁 So sad when you have a wardrobe full of pieces that spark joy and make you happy and not be able to actually wear them. I blame the fashion industry for making me a hoarder of gorgeous garments that are of no use to me 😂
