I’ve bought a ton of kits in the last few years and I have developed a process to help sort the good from the not so great, and I'm going to show you what I look for when buying a kit on Amazon. Hey, I have done 2 balloon walls and arches since finding your video. One arch and one wall. I bought a kit on Amazon for the arch (1st one) and then did an organic white wall with 90% balloons from the dollar store. I added confetti, lilac, and 5inch in gold, white and clear. Your videos made it happen for sure!!!! I would love to know how to purchase in bigger/bulk quantities since everyone is now asking for more. It is so addicting!!! Yes I do the same thing when it comes to Amazon cuz it takes so many people I noticed that a lot that they do that they take other the balloons don't match up exactly what they supposed to be in and a Kits So I do the same thing you to make sure to read the reviews😊 and to look at the picture and read all the subscription of the balloons of what they have to make sure they match up with it cuz I have got burnt that way for a couple of balloons from them thank you so much for sharing tips

Rachel, you are a joy to watch. Your skills and passion show through. I'm in the "practicing stage" of starting a balloon design hobby/business. Your video instruction has been invaluable. I'm doing something for my job in October and I was just wondering if I should invest in the good balloons or try a ballon kit on Amazon. I am concerned because this job needs to look professional since so many people will see it and the referral possibility from this job is huge. Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

Referrals is how I’ve gotten 98% of my business and I agree, it’s super important to make it professional! Kits can be so cheap it might be worth practicing on a cheap one ahead of time to feel extra confident! And if it turns out amazing, you have your answer! But a lot of the kits we went through on Etsy are actually amazing. Double stuffed, variety of sizes, etc. That might be a good option if you’re worried about buying stock. And if you can get away with purchasing stock, go for it! Then you might have more to use on another job or at least use to build out your portfolio! Do let me know how it goes! Thank you , for all your content , will you be adding new content , I just subbed , I hope all is ok , Im having my husband's 60th surprise birthday party next sunday and purchased everything but needed to learn how to use the arch plastic and glue , i also purchased extra balloons , i did get the kit with a big fabric 60th happy birthday and thank you in another video teaching us all to use safty pins . Great idea . Plus so glad i watched alot of content and bought a air pump electric , it will be used many times for all kinds of parties, being 58 i had no clue , i thought i was gonna have to buy a helium tank from sams plus it wouldnt have filled all the balloons . Yours is sold out but i got one for $18 i read reviews an people did say let it cool off once in awhile . My main ? Is Can i use it to blow up the big 60's foil balloons ??? You are so sweet! I wish you the best of luck!! All of that sounds perfect. On the electric inflator, you cannot use it on the foil balloons, no. It will melt the adhesive that seals the balloon shut. That part is a pain I’m sorry. But I’m so glad the videos were helpful and happy 60th birthday to him!! I’ve definitely noticed the difference between the all the pictures shown on Amazon, buyer beware for sure with those! Thanks for mentioning Etsy though, I hadn’t thought to look there. So I’ve ordered a few balloon kits and noticed some of them, even from Party City, come dusty looking with that preservative (I guess that’s what that is). Should I be wiping that stuff off or is that a waste of time? Or is that the “matte” look?

Yessss those pics are such a trap! Some balloons have that powder coating and some don't, even from the same brand, I need to learn more about the manufacturing process to be able to speak on what it is/does. Personally I usually leave it alone and after inflation if they look weird or chalky (not matte, but yucky), then I'll wipe it down with like a microfiber rag or something. Best of luck! XOXO, Rach

I live in North Carolina. Having trouble with command hooks not sticking to the wall . do you have any suggestions . Tried cleaning the wall with alcohol did not work .tried stonger tape but took the paint off the wall.

Hi Yolanda (or should I say howdy neighbor!), There are some materials command hooks just won’t stick to 😩 I have had that happen to me too. You can try putting painters tape down first and the hook on top of it but it isn’t fail proof. Attaching to something permanent is always the best bet. Look up, to the sides, all around to see what might be hiding that you can attach to. If there is no permanent attachment point and temporary ones aren’t working I usually have the clients rent or get a backdrop I can attach to. Best of luck! XOXO, Rach
