I ordered my telkomsel som online to pick up at the airport. As others have said, they tell you you're not in the right place and that your order has to be collected from another store. Of course they then offer you a SIM at double the price. Not a scam but VERY misleading.

Cant find in the description if the 18GB sim u bought have all the GB for everywhere in indonesia. And get confirmation that dont have calls included. Cause the 18GB of XL are 8 Bali, 10 indonesia so can use all 18 in Bali or just 10 outside and have calls to XL included. Think that for traditional routes XL network can be good too.

Plans are valid for 30 days. Once you run out of data you will not be able to use data at any speed until you buy more credit. This is cheap and easy anywhere in Bali.

Indonesian here, I suggest you to use providers that already provide eSIMs to be purchased directly on their websites. At this moment, there are XL Axiata, Indosat Ooredoo, and Smartfren. I suggest Indosat, since it's the best among the three. Telkomsel at this moment doesn't have any eSIM option. PS: If you buy any of those providers, you can also buy roaming data package that can be used as well in Singapore. Cheers!

Of course you can share using mobile hotspot. You need to register your phone IMEI number before using the SIM Card because any handphone from outside Indonesia are blocked by IMEI so you can't use it before register it
