I been dealing with cars since I was 15, nearly 11 years and one of the best and fast ways to get any info about mileage and reports is doing a VIN verification, if mileage adds up cool, if not theres a chance cluster was replaced and there's other things they're not telling you. Even though it is hard for some sellers to give you the VIN number due to theft and suspicion. And if they gladly give it to you, no hesitation. Potential green flag. Always look for leaks, weird noises, and listen to the car when you crank it and or how long it takes etc.

This an interesting way to introduce a new car to your channel. You covered EVERYTHING about the testing and acquisition of your Saturn. A first-time buyer is well served watch this video. @@bluesxt Oh…isn’t THAT the truth? Why, today, I finally summoned the right videos and websites…and a lot o’ courage…to wipe out the Chrome OS on my NEW Chromebook and replace it with Debian 11.6. I’m still kinda stuck on figuring out why the “xfce” GUI doesn’t work. Still can’t wrap my head around the fact that when I run LibreOffice on it, that program’s built-in GUI DOES work. Not used to this stuff, but I’d be sunk without the internet. Enjoy daily driving your Saturn. I hope you enjoy making content with it, too. Aloha!

I disagree sir about not going far for test drive,you have to get that car up to about al least 55-65 for at least a few minutes to get that engine really hot
@bluesxt Жыл бұрын
Maybe this is circumstantial, but what does test driving at 55-65 mph really tell you that you can’t find at lower speeds? Highway speeds is where you can find out if the wheels need to be balanced sure, but let’s be honest, is wheels needing to be balanced enough to prevent you from purchasing a car? There are lots of reasons you’d want to drive highway speeds before purchasing a car, I just think it might be a bit circumstantial as the issues that could appear at highways speeds wouldn’t personally prevent me from making the purchase on that car. :)

My cousin actually had one of these Saturns for 10 years same color too, until he sold it and got a Cobalt LS thinking it was an upgrade.. it wasn't. Whole time his Saturn never failed him once. Probably a flat tire and bad battery here and there but no major repairs. I know because my uncle was his mechanic. Our mechanics would use our yard since we got this house since 2017, we legit had about 7 cars in our yard working on them. I think I still have the videos on my phone. He'd always work on the Saturn. But soon as he gets that Cobalt within a year, it got parked in my yard for nearly 2 years because of a blown engine until he got rid of it 2 years ago. My cousin ended up getting another Saturn and is happy with it still even though he missed his first one. I would ride in it a lot too, he'd take me out a lot since he didn't have a lot of friends. He knows nothing of cars, he's more of a videogame and cosplay geek. But he's a really good dude. My uncle and I would always work on our families cars and trucks. 💯

if you are buying a car does the seller have to have the price already on the back when they notarize it? or can they do the price afterwards

So how much did you pay for the car at the end? You said 200.00 off but what was the original price? I would not pay more than 1,500, no ac, needs tired, pulls to the right, electrical problems, no AC, transmission leaking, oil leaking, I would ask for 1,200.00 or walk away

@@toxiicmayhemzz6686 pictures won’t help. what you need is someone who is mechanically inclined enough to look at the vehicle in person with you. if not, then follow some of the things I mention in the video. Keep it running for a while (15-20 mins) to make sure it doesn’t over heat. Check for leaks, make sure the oil isn’t foamy and no oil in the coolant. @bluesxt Жыл бұрын
All you need to legally buy a car is a title in someone’s name with their signature in the designated spots that release their liability and enables you to legally transfer the title into your name. You don’t have to buy the car from the person who’s name is on the title, you just need the title to be filled out correctly with no mistakes
