Yeah...wait until you have to replace the emergency landing gear extention nitrogen bottle. They're no longer able to be static tested after 24 or 25 years I think. They are like $10,000 dollars each and they are nearly impossible to find.

I’ve been in that position! Definitely a challenge but we made it out the other side. A $10k item is not unheard of - cost of doing business with a private jet. Buying it is the cheapest part. Expect to pay $250k-$500k a year to operate it

Hey Guillermo - rn you cannot do the mod anymore since the company that did them isn’t around anymore. However expect an eagle II to cost you around $1m vs a nice 501 costing around $500-$600k

What is your suggestion for cargo ? not gonna use it for personally use , it's gonna be converted to cargo , how much this airplane can load a cargo ?

Typically Jets are not very good for Cargo. For example, with full fuel, a Citation 501 is limited to about 800+ pounds of payload. If it's about Cargo, I recommend Turbo Props like King Airs

The 500 range is actually around 650 nmi

You’re right, the CE500 is a strange bird. So many have been modified and upgraded. Even SN 500-0001 can go further than originally built, as I sold that jet a few years back.
