5:05 higher premium is only an issue if you sell beck to the dealers.(they have to keep the lights and feed their staff). However, if you sell your stack privately, the premium moves on to the next buyer. Remember, we are only custodians of our stacks. We all have to sell/pass them on at some time to the next custodian. I never worry about premiums. They are the cost of running a businesses. 30 years ago, gold was around $300 an ounce. In 10 to 15 years you will double your money. What ever the spot price when you started. I'd buy from these guys any day if they were my local dealers. Hope that helps anyone thinking about it.😊

Regarding 3:35, gold's price measured per ounce is not an avoirdupois ounce. Instead gold is weighed per troy ounce. The important difference is that a troy ounce is 9.7% heavier than an avoirdupois ounce. Avoirdupois ounces are used to weigh groceries, meat and ordinary merchandise. On the other hand, troy ounces are used to weigh precious metals such as gold, silver, platinum, etc.

@ 1:12 Russ Bega is wrong, because the American Gold Eagle Coin is not 90% gold, instead it is 91.67% gold which is 22 karat gold alloy. On the other in olden days, United States Mint gold coins for circulation were 90% gold.

Timing is very possible; no LCS will tell you the truth on this. Buy a little anytime the weekly price closes lower on Friday than it opened the previous Sunday night. This is called "scaling". Dollar cost average your purchases if it makes sense, but buy in increments regardless. This will allow you to capture a lower basis and will protect against big losses during times of weakness or getting "trapped in the trade". You will not be able to sell profitably for some time after because of the premium and the bid/ask spread. LCS would prefer that you buy it all at once at the top of the market and then sell it all back at the bottom. I have seen shop owners pull metal off the shelf if the price drops to low and as well refuse to buy when price is to high.
