I'm one stacker that stacks in preparation for God's plan to *TAKE BACK WHAT IS HIS.* He warns His kids & the wicked in Haggai 2:8, *"The silver is Mine and the gold is Mine, declares the Lord of hosts."* Then God instructs us further in Proverbs 13:22 by encouraging His kids that, *"...the wealth of the sinner [finds its way eventually] into the hands of the righteous, for whom it was laid up."* So my stacking adventure is knowing that my Father God in heaven *HAS BIG PLANS* that 99% will be surprised by. This is my mindset, brother.

@@lawrencecole6527 I considered doing some research on the community, but figured access would be an issue, given how people are understandably wary of sharing information about their involvement with precious metals. But just from casual observations, there seem to be so many different and identifiable segments within the hobby, with different goals, customs, and behaviors. And I imagine a lot of those track onto demographics like age, class, and definitely political leanings. Some very interesting stuff.

A topic I would like to see is about collecting coins: coins in holders vs raw coins. I think it's no secret in Europe we tend to not care so much for coins in holders and particulary the grading of coins, whereas in the US it seems to be all about the grades. I would love to hear Harry's/Adrian's/Richard's opinion on the whole grading/slabs or just raw coins discussion.
@FustFPV6 ай бұрын
most "grading" companies like coins to collectible card grading companies are american. It is a service export they are trying to sell as any profits they see from that industry results in money coming into the country from outside countries. It is simply world consumerism at its finest and they want everyone else to get into it so more foreigners start paying american companies to grade their stuff so america can then profit off the tax of the international sales.

I asked myself the question, my answer is: (for what it's worth) I prefer precious metal coins that are non numismatic, You don't have to pay an extra premium for an intangible value, something that might go out of fashion like stamps, teapots, Franklin Mint plates, baseball cards, Beany Babies and the like. Baby boomers are disappearing and the new generations coming don't seem to be as interested in collector items. An ounce of pure gold or silver should remain the base of a serious investment portfolio. Numismatics should remain a hobby item.

Experienced stacker topic question: At what point do numismatic pieces lose their appeal? Would people crack out MS 68 Carson City's just to get to their silver content?
@miltonbates64256 ай бұрын
The 9999 fine silver will be very important for the high-end electronics circuitry industry that the A.i. revolution is going to usher-in. Ultra-pure silver nanowires will eventually replace Nvidia GPUs and Apple's Neural Engines

Started my stacking adventure this past week! Been wanting to get into it for awhile and glad I came across your videos for that push! Wish I was closer the Harry’s shop for sure. My question would be more numismatic related but what are Harry and the guys opinion on “error” coins?

Topic: Why didn't silver save us during the great depression when it was our money?
@ScottOuellette-p1d6 ай бұрын
MILLIONS AND MILLIONS OF PEOPLE LOST THEIR JOBS. NO JOB NO PAY. BACK IN THOSE DAYS THE AVERAGE WORKER DIDN'T GET A PAPER PAYCHECK. THEY RECEIVED A PAY ENVELOPE WITH THEIR WAGES PAID IN CASH INSIDE THE PAY ENVELOPE.

Silver will NEVER “Save us” . God saves. Silver and or gold benefits if under Gods blessing. Gold sure did not save atheist Madyln O Hare.

This might be a fairly covered topic already but I haven't seen anything and that's "what's a fair premium?" Obviously that depends a lot on the product but are there general percentages for certain types of products? For example, I popped in my local shop the other day and they were selling 1oz silver Kruger Rands for $40 when spot was in between $29 and $30. American silver eagles were over $40, I think $41-$42, constitutional half dollars were a few dollars over spot when buying $1 face value and I asked them what they were buying .999 generic silver rounds for, they said about $25, so $4 under spot. On buying I could find better deals online, and factoring in shipping, all you have to do is buy a few pieces to make the deal, factoring shipping in, better than the store. It wasn't always like that there either 🤷♀️

3 9’s is like .9997 so 2 millionths 😕 touch silver with bare hands your oils just corrupted it that much 😂🎉❤ those wackos who collect 40% nickels 😮😢🎉😂

I have about 20 war nickels a cool piece of history and just fun to stack for mostly free (unless you buy them) and they hold a 5 cent value.

Using your .9997 figure for 3 9’s, the difference between 3 9’s and 4 9’s (.9999) is actually 3 ten-thousandths. Sorry, but the engineer in me sometimes gets the upper hand! 🤣

@@918KLR I have some too I have found. But I’d never deliberately buy them for silver content. Same with the 40% half dollars. 🫣

@@918KLR how about henning nickels? Ever find any of those by chance?

I love it when you do a video on Harry’s Corn Shop. It is always a pleasure to watch. I would like to see more of them.
