Its not about the horse power, it is about the experience, and people you meet along the way, and seeing the world from the ground up, Ride Safe Pavlin, Best Wishes

I lived in Venezuela 30 years ago and traveled extensively in this beautiful country. Breaks my heart to see wonderful Venezuelans now living in what has become a hellhole.

The lady asks twice: "don't upload this to internet, please". They are not allowed to sell petrol in the black market. The dictator may put this nice lady in jail. Please respect the people!

What is the price of premium in Venezuela? I would imagine it is about 50 cents a liter. By the way, Pawel at 21 Brothers answered my questions on the Rogal XL.
@motorcycleadventuresliveАй бұрын
50 cents per litter on the petrol stations, but 95% are closed

Hallo Pavlin!

Welcome to my country, sadly our government is terrible, and the country is in bad shape, but the majority of people here are nice, don't trust the police or any "security" officer. Be safe

And I think about how much time I've spent worrying about getting "good" fuel in my motorcycle! Were they getting that from a vehicle in back or do they just have random containers full of petrol?

@antoniocruz5714Ай бұрын
Because it's forbidden to sell petrol in the black market. The lady told: "esto es prohibido!" They have a certain amount of gasoline per week subsidized by the state and then sell it clandestinely for 1 dollar. Life is hard in Venezuela.

Soooo.... 95% of the gas stations are closed, but "fuel" is $0.50/liter . "Some kind of fuel" can be bought on the side of the road for $1.00/liter. YES!!! This is adventure touring at its best!!! Ahhhhhhhh Hahahahahaha. [Aside: US petroleum engineers once told me Russian and Venezuelan Oil is harder to process, but much cheaper than the middle east.]
