Hello Yamamoto-san, You had mentioned that you would like viewers to suggest topics that they're interested in so you can discuss in future videos. Something that I am interested in is the comparison of investing in single-family homes in the United States to be used as rental properties vs in Japan. Some things I wonder about.... Comparisons of the property appreciation rates. Also as a US investor/ non-permanent resident of Japan I wonder about the comparison between being able to receive a loan/mortgage versus having to pay cash up front. Tax. I know these topics, amongst others, have been covered in many places but it'd be interesting to hear your point of view. Thanks! 😊

About maybe 5yrs ago I tried to get one of your books from Amazon but it cancelled on me. Don't know what happened. I am interested in buying a home in Japan but not in Tokyo. Too crowded, too expensive. I've been looking into buy an Akiya. I've watched some of the videos and understand that buying one can turn into an extreme financial hardship. Yeeaah... Don't want to go down that road. I did see a listing on of the websites and it's a beautiful home but I'm leary about unseen properties. We have enough of that here in the States. Did you do any video on Akiyas? What are your thoughts? I'm taking early retirement next year and I'm planning to start the other half of my "second life". 🙂 *EDIT:* Just found your videos.

Yamamoto-san, how often do you see house-sized temples go on the market? I'm looking for one in the Wakoshi area - not now, but in next few years.

@EricOnTech Thanks for watching our channel. The temple is not merely a piece of real estate for transactions but a place that must fulfill many duties for its parishioners. Of course, you must first be a Buddhist.

@@yamamotopropertyadvisoryto1271 There's no private templates? I want to live there, I identify with shintoism and bushido but could keep it open for buddhists. But I'm surprised there's no private ones.

I would love to buy and live abroad. I am dominican american. I don't like the politics or the behavior. In dominican republic it's nice, I love the sea, but not safe in some areas. I like japan as they are respectful to their society,. I was looking in Malaysia, but again too religious. Not my thing either, and like you said not many countries can a foreigner own land.
