Is it true that you need to buy a case in order to get an SP? I heard stores crack cases then open til they hit the SP and then sell the rest of the boxes.

Luckily, most stores don't partake in that kind of practice in my experience. A lot of stores that sell sealed Weiss product don't even sell singles, so they don't usually crack boxes themselves. Of course, there are always going to be scummy people out there, and of course, someone is probably doing it, but in the various shops I've visited over the years, this doesn't seem to be an issue.
