Is there technique involved in stripping longer sections of wire? Like if ive got 15ft of 14GA wire that i want to strip down to bare bright am i better of just using a razor blade at that point?

There are machines to strip wire if you're looking to recycle the copper for money. If not, you can use the bare bond wire #14 in the #14/2 NMD ? Otherwise, you should be able to strip a decent amount each time. Be careful with the razor blade.. becoming-an-electrician.com/

@@frostyxmeboi8878 Haven't seen the hand ratcheting splitter you mentioned. But you can look up "wire insulation stripper machine". You feed the wire in and it removes the wire insulation to expose the bare wire if you are recycling, you will get more money back. becoming-an-electrician.com/

Hey each city and company is different, so I cannot give a direct answer! Usually it's a percentage of the journeyman rate.
