To bypass the restriction of method 1, just use a script that acts as a shell ie; batch script that takes in an input and executes the command then returning a response.

@@xKotelek (cant find my last reply so im typing it out again anyway,) basically you take in an input and then execute the command within a loop. This would work due to the group policy only blocking direct access and starting of cmd.exe, but a batch script is interpreted by a new instance of cmd.exe, so, rather than a user running cmd.exe directly, group policy would see a program using cmd.exe (which all terminal based programs use in some way shape or form on windows, just how it is). which is allowed by group policy, due to it only preventing users from running things, not programs. How to change admin password: restart pc while holding shift, its gonna bring you to error resolution screen. Go to more options and there is gonna be a command line option. Type "move C:/Windows/System32/Utilman.exe C:/" then type "copy C:/Windows/System32/cmd.exe C:/Windows/System32/utilman.exe". Then go back into the system and press the accessibility icon. Its gonna open a cmd. There you can do whatever as that cmd has administrator privileges

Why bother with all this when windows recovery allows you to boot any usb without having to know the BIOS password nor the Admin passord, from there just do what ever you like

Best and unfixable (i thing) is getting iso for windown on usb => booting on it => changing keaboard on screen app to cmd=> in winlogon launching on screen keaboard app replaced with cmd => you now have cmd with admin privilage => add admin acount with your password => use it to launch apps (you can even create trusted installer acc here)

@omarnomics It's as simple as that: Boot using a live boot usb (can be whatever OS you want), find your C: drive files, go to C:\Windows\System32, change Utilman.exe or osk.exe name to whatever, then change cmd.exe name to the same one you choose. Now remove the usb and boot into the computer, press the button to open on-screen keyboard or Utilman. Cmd will open as nt authority\system meaning you basically have administrator.

If windows 11 then power off while restarting till you get to please wait then click the other option rather than turning off your pc then advanced options troubleshoot cmd and run dir D: && dir C: whichever drive has windows on it for example D: you'd type D: but if windows is in C: you would type C: then press enter then use cd to change to system (once in the right drive type cd windows\system32) then type xcopy cmd.exe sethc.exe and press enter when it asks you which type press a then type exit and go back, spam shift on the login screen till cmd opens then type net localgroup administrators /add then your account name and that should make you an admin and you should no longer have those restrictions

Nice. And also why I don't use Windows anymore. Just too many underlying moving parts, with extremely restrictive corporate security being enforced (by sysadmins like you) on company supplied enduser devices. So I use Arch. Do a rolling update every morning. And am very selective of what packages I install, to the extend of running strace at times to determine just wth an app or command is doing. Is NetDDE still around as a Win32/64 API? Had great fun with it back in the 90's.

In my dropper I have developed, I use a download, which will ask for admin and then sneaked in a Powershell admin prompt, which then executes a script and the malicious payload. Most users will only see, that it is trusted and signed and allow it.

When I was younger I made a autoit Script to act as a "bluestacks updater" that required admin privileges once my mom entered the passcode it looked to have updated as normal with a fake progress bar and closes out. When I press F3 it opens a Administratior usrmgr window where I set my user as admin.
