I just got to watch your video on this new technique. I do love it. I did read the comments first and was confused as to everyone saying you were going too fast and thinking they could just slow it down. But, what they are really trying to say or ask is, during your teaching process, you ate not explaining the thought process of the technical side as to why you are doing what you're doing....if that makes sense. You have grasped the idea so fast that you think everyone can grasp the idea that fast too. Im a person that wants to know all the details of Why you do what you do and what the reason is. Then, i eventually say to myself, oh he.., i just have to do it no matter the reason. Im a memorizer and i memorize by association. Thank you for this beautiful pattern.

Her tutorial is so easy to understand in my opinion. I have done many complicated stitch patterns and the written pattern of this was confusing for me but watching and hearing her explain it here made this very quick and easy for me to get this started and it all made perfect sense! Great work here, she is awesome! ❤

Absolutely genius! I am literally in the middle of a c2c graphgan and the row to row is getting long and driving me nuts. i thought of trying seperate c2c squares and join but because of your wonderful video I will now pick a point on my graph, start the c2c in the round and then attach it to what I already have. You are so talented! I have been crocheting for 27 years and this c2c blanket is now going to be the first of many, thank you so much my dear 🙏🏼🤗

Okay this is my second watch. This time I have crochet hook and yarn in hand. I slowed it down to 3/4 speed and I'm crocheting as you speak. I managed the first four squares and even the next group. After that, you had so much of it watered in your hand and not flat where we could see exactly where we were supposed to be before continuing that I did something wrong somewhere and I can't figure it out so this will have to be started over and try it again for the third time. I actually dreamed about this during the night and so I wanted to try it again because I love from the center blankets but this is not looking good at all.

I watched first. I watched through row 5 and could not get heads or tails out of what you were doing or get it to make sense to me. After you laid it down and showed it to us right before the color change, I could actually see the square. I will have to crochet this with you from the beginning to see if it makes more sense the second time. I love the concept of from the center because that's my favorite kind of Afghan / blanket to make!

Thank you so much. Just what I was looking for. I was going to make 4 c2c triangles and was looking for join-as-you-go instructions, but this is so much easier. My question is: when adding the corners, will the finished piece be twice the size? I'm trying to figure out when to stop the middle and start the sides if I want a 46 inch square blanket.
@HeartHookHome
@HeartHookHome 2 ай бұрын
If you lay your piece out like a diamond and measure top point to bottom point (or left to right point) that will give you the height/width of your square. Adding the corners does not increase the size of the blanket.

Beautiful but going too fast to begin with. Okay when just watching, but when actually trying to crochet this along with you, you go way to fast and yes I know I can put on slower speed but still you should try either slowing down on the tutorial or speak slower, give the student time to catch up on the blocks without going on to the next step. That's just a big suggestion

I appreciate the video but the jumping is hard for visual learners like myself. You started moving pretty quickly after the third row. I’ve watched and watched it but transitioning from row to row still baffles me. I think I’m getting it but one question would be, are there two squares on each corner and are we to turn it each row? Again thanks for the video and it looks really good and I would love to do one as a gift so I won’t give up. 🌻
