How To: Cadillac CTS-V Sunroof Drain Cleaning

Do you have a soggy headliner? Any water spots show up after a rainfall? The sunroof drains might be your issue. In this video, we clean out the drains in the CTS-V so they flow nice and cleanly again.

This was the BEST video on this subject after watching tons of them. Thanks much. You can use weedwacker line to clean upwards if need be too. Also I've noticed if you spray a little wd40 down the lines after you unclog them. Let sit for a few minutes, then rinse very well, water FLIES out of the drains...

You need to remove the kick plate and snake your hand along the inside body beside the clutch pedal (drivers side), you should see it there and be able to disconnect it from the nipple going through the body to the exterior

Had the same problem with my caddilac I used a turtle brand interior upholstery cleaner. Comes with the brush. Takes a while to get it all out tho

Yes this is also what I did to get it out! Worked fairly well but took some elbow grease

Just FYI, it's called Turtle Wax Power Out! Great product and it won't discolor the liner... Depending on how bad the stains are, regular cheap seltzer water blotted with a microfiber can work as well...
