Thanks for the video. Could u explain more this relationship between the equity drop of 7% and the 1,48 BPWR? I didn't get it XD

It comes from the Raise Your Edge Bounty Beast course, they did tons of calculations to come to these equity drops. They have mentioned some guidelines in the free youtube videos.

But you should also add your % of edge over field and not calling that wide, also second thing is that for sure that ranges are bad cause its a ranges for shoving in non pko tournaments, for sure from that position u have to discount all suited connectors because u will get called by alot in PKO and a lot by J highs Q highs etc. Its a very losse call, bad math.

This video is not about this exact spot, it is a video to show people how they can calculate their own spots with some tips. Like I say in the video, in my experience people don't adjust properly, but again this hand is just an example. If you want to do a good analysis, you have to do a 360 analysis like I mentioned

I think you have to swap the two numbers in the pot odds calculation. Besides that, nice video!

How do you get that 7%?
@k17w4 жыл бұрын
tbh thats the most important thing and its not in the video. just to not leave you hanging tho if you take 1/3 of the startingstack and add it to the pod odds you also get the equitydrop of 7% without the BPWR.

I mentioned that it comes from the Raise Your Edge Bounty Beast if I am not mistaken. They have done all these calculations and have mentioned some guides in their free YT videos. The 1/3 rule is only applicable at the very start of the tournament, as soon as people bust, the 1/3 changes.

@@DWsteviePoker yeah you mentioned. don´t wanna sound rude in anyway but without those calculations for 90% of the people this video is relativ pointless. would have appreciate more showing it with pot odds and the 1/3 starting stack and mention that this value will be increasing the further the tournament is continuing. still like the video tho.
