If soil is collapsing then the method that is being used should not be adopted, in that case piling should be done by casing, or a glue type material is there which makes the soil strong, I dont remember it but you can search on internet, the best practice is that just install casing and construct the pile.

@Ajay baba it means that it has failed in tension, it has reached its charactristic value i.e. fck, in that case a steel with high grade should be used. There may be some other defects in steel like it is melted by using some method, so that carban content in it reduces and it fails. Remember one graph in old days in your book where a steel is tested for its bending and at one level it fails.
