If ABCD is the trapezium, with AB || CD , then draw AE parallel to BC where E is at CD. You'll get a triangle and a parallelogram then. Find the area of the triangle using the three sides(herons formula) ... and then using basic triangle formula you'll get the height of the triangle , which is also the height of trapezium. Then find the area of the trapezium.
