Very nice that seemed to work well for you my friend. Great job on showing how to calibrate the Drone.👍

Yep. I find that letting it sit for 15 seconds after calibrating the gimbal makes for a smoother transition before doing the compass calibration. It always works for me with no issues.

Hi, you know why my eachine ex4 doesn´t conect with the app? If i try to fly it manually in Alttitude mode it works, but when i try to use the apps (C-Fly or enjoy fly) it says that the pair has been completed but i have to reconect the wifi of the remote control. It´s always conected, at least aparently, and i´n my case i just have the option of conect to Grownd xxxxxx, i guess because it is the new version, the point is that i never see what the camera sees in the app nor conect the phone to the controler to the drone, it always turns its light to blue and cancels the sincronization of the devices. Any help?

Not sure what to say here, can you upload a video showing the issue? Then I can try and see if I can help you in someway. You do have to connect the WiFi to the remote controller and not the drone. But like I said, I really can’t advise you on anything because I’m not able to see it.

Nice video 👍. Unfortunately it does not work on my Samsung A3 nor Iphone 7. Still get the "Calibration Failure" in C-Fly app when doing the vertical cal. Head up, head down, slow turn, fast turn. None of it works for me :-(

As a curiosity, to fly in altitude mode ... is it convenient to calibrate it too? today I noticed that outdoors in altitude mode it was a bit elusive. will it be for not doing the gyro calibration? When it takes a long time to catch satellites, is it convenient to raise it a little in altitude mode so that it can catch them more easily? thanks for your video!
@DroneSyndrome3 жыл бұрын
Its not necessary to calibrate the drone on every flight, whether on GPS or Altitude Mode. But it’s recommended to do a fresh calibration if you move to a new location. If your drone is toilet bowling, that means the gyroscopes are off and they need to be re-calibrated. As for satellites, I always let the drone sit for a few minutes until it picks up at least 7 sats or more before doing any calibrations. The GPS module in this drone does take some time to pick up satellites.

I’ve heard some people say that raising it in altitude mode for a few until it gets satellites but I’ve never tried this, so I couldn’t tell you if this works or not. How long does it take you to get satellites normally?
@AdriFCmusic3 жыл бұрын
on some occasion it took me 10/15 minutes to catch satellites ... and sometimes I had to turn it up in altitude mode for it to catch them. other times it works fine from the start.

In my network only the controller is displayed why can this be and what would happen if I connect to the drone?

What phone do you have?

Great question. I use an iPhone. I find that it works well with all of my drone apps. I tried with my Android phone and I always have issues using apps with it, they usually quit, freeze up, or just don’t work well at all.

@@wydrone3854 Yeah, I have two Android phones and I always have issues with drone apps. I never have issues with iOS. That’s why I prefer an iPhone over Samsung when it comes to these apps.

@@DroneSyndrome I may have to find me an iPhone for my drones. It is weird to me that Apple is USA and they keep things updated for it, Samsung is China and they don't

I'm hoping someone can help. My JJRC X12 flys well, but I can almost never get it the calibrate (horizontal or gyro). The drone light turns solid green, the drone binds with the controller, the iphone connects to the controller's WIFI, the FPV works (I can move the gimbal up and down), then no matter what I do I can ALMOST NEVER get to the point where it says cailbration sucessful. The battery percentage, height, speeds, etc. all show N/A. The manual says rotate it counter clockwise, but your video and every other one I've watched says counter-clockwise.
@DroneSyndrome3 жыл бұрын
If the green light stays solid green then that means the GPS is connected to satellites. You don’t need to calibrate the drone every time you fly, unless you’re flying at another location 1km or more away from the previous take off site. In terms of the battery, height, etc., not reading in the app, that might be an issue with the app. Have you updated to the latest version? Worse case scenario, it might be an issue with the barometer or ESC.
@DroneSyndrome3 жыл бұрын
If the GPS is connected (light solid green) the only calibration would be the Gyro calibration only.
