When I was 16, i was driving to Boston when both rear tires blew out. I knew I was in trouble, I was driving 65. I went into the guardrail and before I hit, I yelled Please Help me Jesus. I hit the windshield ( no seat belt on) and I came to in the passenger seat and could hear the sounds of footsteps of those who stopped to help me. I got 6 stitches in my ear and that was it. I left the hospital that very same day. God is great!

I dunt know about this..but what I do know is that, before I can finish my prayer, HE answers me. Other times, HE answers me before I can even pray for a thing, person or situation. Other times, I just shout out HIS name, and there HE is. When someone hurts me deliberately, I go to HIM as a child to their Father, and HE fixes the situations. HE requires us to 'come as you are,' nothing fancy, or complicated.

I thought the video would speak about Angels. However, I still immensely enjoyed it, as I remembered that "the Angels hearken unto His Word". So I still felt I got the message in that whenever we fervently and earnestly give God back His Word in situations, those Angels do hearken unto His Word and go to work on our behalf at His command. At least, I believe that.

So is he saying we have to back everything we ask for up with scripture? Seems kinda transactional. I thought prayer is mostly conversion with God. This feels formulated, like do this and god will actually hear you and respond to your needs. Someone help me out here. I get the point but something isn’t clicking to me. It sounds like if you want or need something you have to find it in the word and present it in order to get it. I don’t think God would care. I think he loves us and knows our needs and just simply invites us to tell us our needs. It just feels like this videos is saying we need to prove our case here.

I agree. I want to add that all the promises in the scriptures only work when one is in spiritual freedom. In the absence of spiritual freedom one needs the assistance of angels to defeat enemies and get prayers answered. This is what I gained from reading WHAT THE JEWS KNOW and Ruthless Yokes Breakers by Bode Jackson. These books have a lot to teach on how to engage with angels to influence God.

But careful though, scripture also tells us that we do not have our prayers answers because of the many words I get it, scripture functions as legal arguments and yes- emotional prayers with no connection to the spirit can and will many times just be void words But please don't lose God in your heart just because you want to "make things happen" God may be a judge but he's not a robot

We always have to take things into context. Jesus was rebuking the pharasees for their hypocrisy because they used long prayers to deceive widows. He wasn't talking to you the believer or saying that many words make your prayers not answered as you say. Matthew 23:14 King James Version (KJV) Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation. There are several scriptures that prove Jesus himself prayed for long including the rest of disciples. In fact Just before Jesus's arrest, the Bible says he went and prayed thrice repeating the same words. Mark 14:39. That's petitioning. So we must understand the context.
