This is also great for life. Especially reviewing regularly.

Trying to complete a project and you just explained the final question to me in 5 minutes. Now I know how to answer it, thank you!

The worst thing that can happen is - no to do it. The second worst thing is to misuse its potential. There are many ways to do it. For example: a) Simplest: Keep a log on the wall (broadcast) to guide behaviours: issues that come up that need to be corrected, and requirements to be enforced b) Do Pre-mortem (total collapse), Pro-mortem (dreams come true) and Post-Mortem (Gary Klein). c) Video record live issues and improvements (Paul Akers) d) Practice project (business) literacy i.e. let people practice interpreting project management information. e) Capture daily intelligence, reminders, changes: publish Daily Project Briefs. Discover patterns. f) Create "River Diagram" (Chris Collison) based on an agreed set of important practices. Close the gap or reach out. g) 3P technique (Lean). A kind of open book management. h) Apply system approach: identify constraints (Theory of Constraints), resolve contradictions, paradoxes, etc i) Address 1. Unfamiliar (Complex, Simple) 2 (Familiar (Complex, Simple) (Ann Latham). And so on. Thank you for the video!

Water cooler?

Long overdue response. Most of the chatter happens when people meetup up at the water cooler to drink water etc. As a project manager you get to pickup what is working and what isn't going well on a project, through the little conversations that take place at social place is the water cooler.
