Sometimes it takes a while.... sometimes it is instantaneous. while developing a new eggs, abdomen and vent both become a bit swollen. Even if it doesn't developing new egg, no need to worry. The swollen vent will be normal within a few days...

Generally birds apne eggs tab tod dete hay jab unko lagta hay ki eggs infertile hay... Budgies ke eggs se chicks nikalne me average 18-20 din lagta hay... to thoda aur wait kijiye.... agar aapka bird pehli bar breed kar rehe hay to thoda zyada din lag sakta hay....
