After she stops laying eggs ..when does her vent goes back to normal.. My lutino has stopped laying eggs now. she laid 4 eggs in total and her last egg was laid on 22nd june ..Nd now she is not laying but her vent is still a bit swollen.. not so much but a bit.. Plz tell

Sometimes it takes a while.... sometimes it is instantaneous. while developing a new eggs, abdomen and vent both become a bit swollen. Even if it doesn't developing new egg, no need to worry. The swollen vent will be normal within a few days...

I just took a small open bowl, covered it with a cloth, kept it inside the cage with the other birds and transferred her egg right in front of her. It took her some time to go near her egg, but she then got comfortable on the bowl and laid the rest of her eggs there itself, all except one that is.
