Thank you for making these videos. Really helpful for newbies like me. I have been watering my croton daily till the water comes down. It loved it and grew very well. But I wasn’t home for a month and nobody really cared for the plant. When I came home it lost most of its leaves other leaves were pale and leaves were Turing to look down as if they don’t want to look at the sun. I started watering it again still all the pale leaves were falling out daily in bunch. I Assume it was rarely watered in my absence and it was very hot for more than a week that time. I also changed its position to lesser sunnier place and watered regularly. Then I started seeing some new growth. But I wasn’t still sure if I am over watering the plant or not. So I skipped a day in between or 2 days in between as I could see that the soil was still moist/wet I also added sphagnum moss on the top of the soil. I saw in your video that I am supposed to put it below the soil. Now I see some new leaves and buds for new leaves. I shifted it back to its sunny place. But some of the new buds are still drying and curling. Some new leaves are also changing colour fast to orange/yellow, becoming thin and leaving the plant. I am thinking to repot it today and came across you through your repotting croton video. I am very concerned. It would be great if you can tell me what Am I doing wrong.
