A few weeks ago a I found a stray cat roaming around my apartment. It was raining and he was crying so I let him in and fed him. I have a dog and a few months ago I adopted a stray cat. So I cared for the second stray cat. In the morning he wanted to go outside so I let him. For a few days it was going okay as both stray cats use to go outside in the morning then after a few hours they would come at my door. I used to fed both of them and they would sleep in my bed with me. After a few days the second stray cat was missing. I started calling him but there was no response. A few hours later I went outside again to look for him and found him on the backside of my apartment laying in the dirt. His left hind leg was broken. I took him to the vet and his hind leg has been plastered. Later I came to know that he got hit by a car. Now its been almost 12 days and I'm facing a new problem. Every night he wants to go outside. He roams around the house trying to get out. Since he is a stray I understand that its hard for him to not see the outside world. But I can't let him go outside until he is healed. I need some advise on how to stop him from trying to get out. I've tried playing with him, I spent a lot of time with him. I'm not able to sleep at night as he continues to roam around at night.

One of my stray cats showed up tonight with a deep leg wound to her right lower leg. It was clean around the wound and not bleeding. I assume that because it was not bleeding that it is already in the healing process. She ate really good (three portions of sheba cat food). I had a chance to use super clot on the wound. It says stops bleeding, numbs pain and disinfects. She did not seem to be in pain. I wanted to wrap it in gauze, but, she didn't wait and by the time I got back with the stuff to doctor it up, she had left. I hope Sammy (that's what I named her) is okay. I'll be looking out for her to come back. Her and another cat come at least 2 times a day. I hope she'll be okay.

doctor, im sorry to approach you. i guess this is the only way that i can do for my cat since Libya do not have any vet at all.. My cat Maurice came home with a swelling Rt paw.. i examined his paw and i saw that his middle claw ( Nail ) is a little bit protruding.. when i touch it, he go ballistic.. so i tried to give him analgesia ( Ibufropen syrup 2ml ), and i also gave him Amoxicillin about 125mg ( Grind and mixed with his food ) All the drugs i had given to him was for Human.. i only cut out the dosages as if like he is a baby boy. now, Maurice is sleeping..so i took that as an opportunity to re-examine and clean the inflamation at that side of his Rt Paw. i wrap it with an elastic bondage and then I allow Maurice to sleep in his bed alone. im a Registered Nurse. i hope that you could hear me.. should i remove Maurice's infected claw (Nail ), or should i just leave it alone to heal ? thank you very much in advance. ❤ ☹😭😭😭

My other cat (who I named Robbie) also has an injury. He is hobbling around with three legs and holding his back right leg up and not walking on it. He also has a small gash in his leg. Maybe they both got into a cat fight. I'm hoping that this wasn't a human who did this to them. He can go up and down stairs holding his injured leg up - he does this because I live on the second floor. He's not crying so I'm assuming he's not in pain. He ate some of the wet food tonight and some of the dry food. I'm not a vet so I don't want to wrap it because if I do what if it heals wrong. I'm hoping he'll eventually start using it again. I wish he wouldn't go off and wander and I wish he would stay and sleep but he wanders off all the time. I hope no one hurts either one of them again.

@@srishtiraaj9310 She's all healed up now. You wouldn't even be able to tell that she was injured. The other cat that she comes with is a bengal cat that I named Robbie. He was injured and hobbled on three legs for quite a while. I believe he is a feral because he wouldn't let me get near him to use the super clot like I did for Sammy (I bought the super clot at Walmart). He wasn't bleeding, either. It looked like a puncture wound on his left back leg. I prayed a lot for a healing. He is a fighter, though. He still hopped up the steps (I live on the 2nd floor) to get his food and to see me. I have to respect that he doesn't want me near him or maybe he won't come back and I don't want that to happen. He's all healed up now and is doing well. Using all four legs now like it never even happened. I read online most of the time it does heal up but it takes awhile. I wanted him to eat though because I told him that he has to eat to get his nutrition to heal. You have to eat to heal. I hope your cat is doing better. I will do a prayer healing for him.

Hello! I am coming here for help. I was just walking round my house, and then I noticed a little spot on my cat, that appeared to be a mole, on her tail at first. On closer inspection, I found a small hole, with a kind of red area around it, which she was licking. She has had something similar in the past, and was angered whenever I tried to figure out what it was, so I left it. She has still been the same cat, no personality changes. I noticed she licks there a lot, and does chase her tail, so I hope it is just her perhaps dealing with a common unnoticed injury. But if it is infected, I would definitely book in to see a vet. She has been acting happily, as usual, but she has been a little more protective of where we stroke her. Please reply with answers. I am worried for her, but she is being a little tricky to deal with.

He slept for a little while and ended up being okay so I’m guessing he just had a little tumble and nothing serious. What I would do in your situation is leave him/her to take a nap and if he/she still isn’t better after it maybe give your vet a ring! Hope this helps

@@moni6276 I would personally suggest getting some feline CBD and sedate him so he doesnt move around. If he is not taking in substance on his own it means hes in pain.

my poor cat jasper accidentally got ran over we took him to the vet and they said everything is perfect except for one tibial fracture on his hind leg. they put his bone back in place and put a cast on it. we couldn't afford the surgery that they wanted 4,000 dollars for. we are giving him pain meds and he's eating and drinking and cleaning himself but he can't walk. we have another appointment in 6 weeks to see if his bone healed correctly.
