Let me know how you pronounce the word 'betta'! Option 1 or option 2?

Dear Jake: Betamax is a consumer-level analog-recording and cassette format of magnetic tape for video. Betta splendens is a freshwater fish. If you say "Bait-ah," you are referring to a VCR. It's nice to see that your monte carlo tank is doing so well without CO2 and that the anubias nana make the bonsai tree look super-terrific! That betta fish looks right happy in this set up. I could never get my Betta splendens to eat flake food unless other fish in the tank made him jealous. I use New Life Spectrum Betta formula pellets as a staple food and give them treats of live blackworms (Lumbriculus variegatus), and Daphnia magna and occasional frozen bloodworms and mysis shrimp. I am careful not to overfeed my fish. Thank you for a very enjoyable look at this, terrific species. All my best, Sincerely, E. J. Brinegar

Brinegar, I completely agree with you! Option 1 for sure. My betta likes flakes, but really loves when I treat him to frozen bloodworms! Thank you for watching!

I love the tree! Wonder if I could recreate a weeping willow? As for betta I mostly hear 2
@RaccoonCreekAquatics6 жыл бұрын
Hmm.. what do you think about trying a thin step plant rotala to go for the Willow tree look?
@ashlynwanderer5 жыл бұрын
you'd have to find a way to get the plants to grow downward...

I agree a 5 gallon tank is the smallest tank to use for keeping Betta's..I find the bigger the tank the more active they seem to be.

Beautiful setup bro . Your right about the filtration. I have also seen bettas in small containers with out filtration .

Hey I have a question what are some fish tank mates for my female Betta to live in a 5 gallon tank please answer
@jimicook864 жыл бұрын
I pronounce it 2, because I had bettas as a kid and still keep them. At that time people usually pronounced it bay-tah so I say it that way. Saying it like bet-ah is kind of new and when I kept them people never said it that way. I can’t just start saying it the other way lol

1: I can't stand it when people say BEY-TUH! :( Love your monte carlo carpet; I too have it with no CO2 and grow it with a Finnex Planted+. That bonsai is pretty killer too with a massive quantity of anubias nana petite. If you don't mind sharing, what kind of camera do you use for your video and photos? The quality is quite superb. Thank you.

hey bro. Betta for me is not really a choice , I think males are so unpredictable the choice of tank mates should, be considered carefully. I like watching these fish but for owning these fish nah too much for me....lolol interesting video bro. Kool presentation...

Thanks for watching man! I agree, every Bettas personality and temperament seems different. These are just the tank mates I've seen success with. Thanks for watching!
