Don’t give ferrets ferret food cause most ferret food have corn in it and corn is bad for them I would recommend the Wellness core grain free original formula and it is cat food but it is really good for ferrets

@@TAYLOR8mm Some types of cat food like high quality kitten food and treats are very good for them but only if they contain enough protein and some dog treats (purely meat based only) are also good.

You can buy some amazing high protien food for ferrets but yeah ferret is food is terrible for ferrets. I've seen many people reccomend Wysong food, it is for ferrets but it is high protien and has no plant products. It's amazing for them :)

Hello! I'm not trying to be mean but I have some suggestions about the care you are providing. Most commercial ferret foods do not supply enough protein, some are soy and grain-based, and some even contain fruits and vegetables! [Fruits and veggies are toxic to ferrets for endless reasons.] Wysong ferret food seems to be the only commercial ferret food that is good to give your ferret. It has 60% protein, no fruits, no veggies, and no soy or grain. Some people say this food is bad, others are very certain it is good. If you do switch your ferret's diet, do it slowly :D *Thank you so much* for saying cat food is not a good alternative pellet food for ferrets. Cats can eat fruits and veggies so about 90% of cat food has fruits and veggies. The cat food that people say works has peas, a veggie, peas cause kidney stones and kidney failure.

You can have just one, but it needs constant ttention, 3-4 hours of play each day, and they wouldnt complain of you gave them more

Hello my parents are divorced so I'm not there all the time but I'm getting a car soonish so I could drive to care for the ferret. For the time being could they live in a cage while I'm not there. But when I am at my dads he will get over 5 hours of play
