Thank you for making this video 💚Hope mine with grow as big as yours. Florida variety also has variegated bananas, the shape is different, has stubby square ends instead of smooth round end like Aeae's.

Hello, I bought my musa banana plant from Thailand. When it arrived, it was healthy but as soon as I removed the sphagnum moss and transplanted, all the leaves went down and drooped. The leaves started dying so I cut off all the leaves. What should I do now? Do you think it will live?
@learningtolaser3 жыл бұрын
Mine did the same thing. I cut all the leaves and put it in a pot with just the growing tip left out. After a few weeks it started to sprout a new tip. Since it’s winter it takes a little extra time to get established.

Banana is hard. My experience is limited but I do plant them directly to soil mix when I got it. Keep it humid and warm

Hello and thank you for this helpful video! Can you tell me this?i have a 5 inch baby Florida Musa that I just received. I have a heating pad that stays on, as in not on a timer. But it's only got one heat setting, high. I put a hand towel and then a wash cloth over the heating pad and set the plant on top of that. I felt it and it's not hot on the bottom and sides of the pot, but I just warm. Is that good? And if so, how long should I do that? It's not in a greenhouse, just a very sunny warmish room. .

Thanks this video, it's very informative~ I wanna ask a bit, is there a way to tell whether the leaf browning came from overwatering / too much sunlight?

Variegation in plant is a genetic mutation, for better or for worse. I’d be afraid to consume any fruits from a genetically mutated tree... 😳 lol
@Elvykiung4 жыл бұрын
Lot of plant has been mutated lol. Like apple the grower keep modifying the genetic of the plants so you will have bigger fruit. Genetic mutation not a disease it still a healthy plant 😊. I have meet a friend who own mother of apple 😊 the fruit is so small but it’s really cool to know the origins of one plant
