Hi fella. I just want to say that you have changed my life. I was a drinker but now I’ve stopped I’ve taken up whittling & carving. I don’t even think about drinking anymore. I’ve watched a lot of different carvers on KZbin & I really do get into the way you do the work. I’m into a lot of detailing. I know it take longer but I think it’s worth it. My wife and I enjoyed this one. I carved and she did an excellent job painting. As a goof I made a tossle cap with pom pom on top and gave it to her while she was painting. Long story short I had to make six more hats.

My grandpa used to make things with wood all the time and I have a lot of the ones that he never finished before he passed. Watching you do this makes me think that I might be able to finish some of them to give to his great grandkids because he was never able to.

I can totally see the Doug Linker Christmas sweater line coming soon. His models will complain though. Joe will say they are itchy and too big, and then Shawn will be complaining that he looks better in a vest with no sweater. If this fashion gig is going to come to fruition before Christmas, you better learn to knit soon.
