How To Carve A Wooden Spoon ( Using Hand Tools and Power Tools )

In this video I show you how to carve a wooden spoon ( using hand tools and power tools). The spoons I make arent the greatest but they certainly serve there purpose. My wife has an idea for some wall art for the house which requires alot of wooden spoons so I get to practice making spoons and make the wife happy! This particular spoon or ladle is not exactly designed for use as much as aesthetics. This one is made out of a off cut of walnut , red oak cutting board . You can make spoons out of all sorts of wood just keep in mind some woods are not good to use in actual cooking applications so do some research before making a wooden spoon you intend to use with food !
