Great instruction. Can't wait to try over my non-dominant shoulder. My casting is grim at the best of times!

Thanks for the video accuracy is my major problem but I now realise that I am casting over my right shoulder which may account for it. Also I am having issues with cracking off on the cast which I am also trying to resolve.

Fantastic video, best casting one I’ve seen. Can I just ask though please one question. At what point is it best to release the line when thrusting the rod forward? Thanks
@BaitTech2 жыл бұрын
This depends on a lot of things, length of rod, length of drop, desired flight etc. But if you have a play about we're sure you'll quickly find out where's best for you 😁😁

I can't see the difference it makes casting over your left or right shoulder. Why is it better to cast over the non dominant shoulder?
@jamespeet2407 Жыл бұрын
Casting over your dominant shoulder makes it much harder for the feeder/bomb to travel in a straight line all the way through the casting action. It is possible over your dominant though, providing you keep the feeder/bomb as close as possible to the blank on your “back swing”. But as a general rule of thumb over your non dominant shoulder is much more fool proof :)
