Not sure if you are aware or not, but with targeting storm cards like grapeshot or tendrils after the first time you target the opponent the game will give you a prompt down below asking if you want to pick a new target for the storm if you hit the decline button it will target the same target, mashing that button is a bit faster that retargeting the opponent and you won't accidentally hit mute and unmute a bunch

I believe that when you beseech into tendrils you can sac song to bargain so it doesn't trigger and you don't accidentally draw the tendrils. Anyway, great video! Excited to see more brawl and timeless content

Answer: Leyline of Sanctity, Surge of salvation, Metropolis Reformer, and basically anything that gives you as a player hexproof. I've recently found out about how many cards and strategies are shut down by having hexproof as a player and it really pays off. Probably would work in this format too

It’s best to minimize the number of win conditions in this type of deck, since drawing them isn’t desirable. Using it as a sideboard plan is more reasonable.

This is the sort of shenanigans I expected from timeless. I've been surprised with how "fair" the meta has been so far. Most of the top decks (titan, domain, burn, delirium) all seem kind of slow and ripe for turn 2 or 3 combo kills.

Yep, I’ve watched/listened to it 3-4 times. I think the deck just requires the stars to align to get it off. You need 4-5 land (or dark ritual), multiple artifacts, beseech, and then need to draw the right combo afterwards. I’ve tried this for a few hours and just wasn’t working reliably. A lot of the time I’m dead before getting things off, end up mulligan’ing too many times to get the right cards in hand, or end up having to discard my hand because I’ve run out of fuel.

@@somedude5353 You should only go for Beseech if you have enough mana or spells to keep going afterwards. I've never found myself fizzling after getting Song of Creation in play. Possible you need to wait an extra turn in some instances. The meta is quite hostile towards drawing cards, so it's not the most reliable combo in the format.

I always recommend to wait a week or so after a video is posted so Untapped has time to gather more data on the deck. That way you’ll get a much bigger sample size and a more honest representation of a deck. Whatever data I gather is going to pale in comparison and will be skewed by lots of factors such as play/draw and the surprise factor of an unknown deck which wears off after a few days. That’s why you won’t see me claim any outlandish win rates in my video titles, an individual will rarely play enough games for those numbers to be statistically accurate. But I’m always happy to give my opinion on a deck at the end of each video.

What about 2 grapeshot over tendrils since it can kill bowmasters too? Lets you play a backup win con that helps to protect the combo. Also pact of negation seems like it would be solid protecting and being part of the combo. @@LegenVD

@@exraaa Definitely considered Pact, although Bowmasters is a bigger concern than counterspells in the current meta. So I would put Pact in the sideboard, while Push does a good job of handling Bowmasters and Eidolon.
