I'm sure you've all learned this by now, but it's best to use the three Legendaries for the Ditto raids. Because Zacian, Zamazenta, and Eternatus are unable to Dynamax, Ditto is actually unable to Transform or Imposter into them.

For anyone with the Isle of Armor DLC there is a den in the Workout Sea that is almost guarunteed to be a Ditto on both red beam and rare beam. It's den #152 on serebii if you want the location. This saves having to save reset for a rare den.

A trick for Ditto raids that I feel most people haven't caught onto yet is have everyone bring Eternatus/Zacian/Zamazenta. They can't be dynamaxed so when Ditto tries to transform into them, it just fails and wastes its turn. It's even better than bringing Magikarp, because they can actually attack and still deal a lot of damage with Dynamax Cannon or Behemoth Blade even past the barriers. People should know this so they stop bringing fairies when I bring Eternatus cause that just stops my Dynamax Cannon and slows the raid down.

I found a method to get lv 100s in as little as 1 hour. While trying to reset to get gigantamax spawns i noticed when I change the date by 1 day and reset the purple beam, my poke jobs would also reset and complete. It only works when u reset the beam changing the date outside of that doesn't reset the poke jobs. I have been lving my pokemon to 100 while gigantamax hunting. So the formula is reset game till you get a purple beam, then save, after go to poke center and send pokemon off to work on the EXP Jobs or EV training Jobs, then fly back to the den you got the purple beam, Do the reset method, (hit invite others then change the date forward by 1 day) then once it reset the pokemon in the beam, just fly to poke center and your jobs should be completed. Just keep repeating. Now I find some times it doesn't work but that is mostly if you hit the home button by accident after you reset the den, for whatever reason hitting the home button after den reset undos the job completion even if you have not reset the date to current date. Hope you all find this useful but I have leveled up my 30+ competitive pokemon this way in only 2 hours. and it take 3 reset to full EV Train 1 stat as each reset gives you 96 points to that stat.

If the ditto has its hidden ability and the host sends out a ditto, the raid ditto will turn into that ditto. The host can then turn into another persons Pokémon, while the raid ditto can no longer transform. This is because you cannot transform multiple times, so the raid ditto just sits there spamming transform while it fails

Something I've been doing on my Ditto farm is after I find a 5 star Ditto, I load up the battle really fast to see if it has the imposter ability. If it doesn't I exit out and continue forward through the date advance method. Once I find one with imposter I exit out one last time, and then finally connect to the internet while sending in my level 1 Magikarp. I may have no idea what the IVs are on the Ditto but hey at least a few other random players are getting an easy chance to get a decent Ditto without having to do the set up themselves.

For the foreign save file, you don´t need to get to the wild area, just get the y-comm. It works. Also, if going for competitive shinies, get a male 5iv pokemon egg (save before hatching, reset if 5iv, retry if its not), trade it to a foreign save file, hatch it, trade it back, you now have a 5iv foreign pokemon that can make shinies from two egg groups, and if you use two of the same species, you get eggs faster.

The encounters seem set. You can constantly restart after checking the IVs. Changing the date until you encounter the next five star knowing what ditto you find along the way. Advice from a humble ditto farmer.

Yup that one den is the perfect den. Once you generate a ditto in that den it's the only encounter you can get. I love that den.

You can also do this without needing to buy another copy if you have a family membership for NSO like I do. The game lets you choose a language at the beginning, so you can choose a foreign language on a separate profile and either use a second Switch, trade with a friend, or wait until Home comes out.

skulletorable he’s saying that everything that resets by time (like the pokeballs one Watt Trader has that shuffles each day), CAN be rerolled by the Date Spoof Method which you mix up the raid table of a pokemon you want. Things that’s affected by time can be changed through the system and bypass IRL time waiting.

Some games glitch out and loose time change functionality if you revert back to the actual time after travelling forward so much, is this the case with Sword and Shield?

If I'm not mistaken the host can enter the raid with zamacian, zamazenta or eternatus and ditto will never transform in them because there is no dinamax versions of them in-game, so it makes the raid very easy to complete...

The gift Pikachu or Eevee is easy to pick up in another language if you have any of the let's go games too. Easy 6iv breeding Pokemon.

I did one 4 star ditto and two 5 star ditto. The 4 star one gave me 3IV and the two 5 star ones gave me 4IV.

Actually even most of the 5 star gold pokemons i catch in max raids are 4iv. I dont recall getting a 5iv from one.

@@lammie-858 Even 5 IVs are rare. It took me a few hours of resetting to get my 5 IV Ditto. So if anyone has a 6 IV Ditto, then I'm going to assume they either don't sleep and have no life, or are cheating.

Well I have personally done this method for past 2 days 15hours a day and have caught over six 5 IV dittos but yet to get a 6 IV at over 1m watts and starting to lose faith the godly perfect ditto exist.

If the ditto has imposter the first person in the raid can also use ditto. The imposter ditto will never change forms and the party leader with the ditto can pick another mon from the team to transform into. It does not work if the raid ditto doesnt have imposter

Slightly better version of your judge juggling from 8:40. Reroll Ditto den with main account that has judge feature, hard save when you get 5 star Ditto, catch it, judge it, reset, if you want better keep rerolling, if it's 6IV now go power up your alt switch with foreign account/inv friends :)

it's 09/23/2021 with the updated pokemon Home. I'm about to try it out right now with a Spanish Playthrough and my English playthrough on my switch. I'll let you know how it goes if anyone is interested. Update: It's 10/11/21, it's only account base, you don't share the PC BOX with every profile on there. Y'all probably know this, just wanted to put this on here.

Put it in the gts for a Pokemon that's somewhat rare but you have on your main, then quickly go to your phone and trade it

There's an option in pokemon home to transfer between save files. Login as the sender and above the game save options you can select the profile that will be receiving the pokemon
