I have watched a lot of crab channels, but this is the most enjoyable. What makes it so nice is watching the two of you crabbing together as husband and wife. You are an exception couple enjoying life together. I really like the crab dishes that your wife prepares. All I can say is you are an amazing couple and you keep me smiling. We love blue crab. We are in Eastern NC, we are heading to Savannah GA tomorrow camping at Fort Mccalister. Supposed to be good crabbing there. We went and bought the long net and chicken string holders, wish us luck. Your supper looked sooo good! Me and hubby enjoy watching your videos.

I use to go crabbing in Maryland, now I live in Florida. I was just a kid then without a net. We just dropped the chicken on a string , waited a moment and pulled it out. They wouldn’t let loose. We took them off by hand, got bit a couple times, but brought them up by the bushel full while adults were preparing other stuff for the feast. Crabs were just an added bonus to the feast but everyone loved them. I like the net idea. Didn’t know we had many blue crabs down here ? My favorite species. I may try this. Thank you for posting. I’m an old man and learned some things the hard way. Now I’m hungry.

There are a lot of crabs in Florida and it's year round. Try to get out and catch some, you'll enjoy it.

I always try to remove at least a little more of other people's trash when I'm fishing . I find it unbelievable that people leave their garbage behind them. Those crabs look very nice indeed❤

Looks like a delicious dinner. Your crabs seem tamer than ours, as ours always seem like they really want to pinch you. We have not quite gotten brave enough to grab them like Mr. Sam does. We followed your lead and actually stepped on a few crabs to keep them from getting away. I thought I was going to get my feet pinched because I was wearing some sandals at the time, but I risked it and did not get pinched.

Those crabs look really good. I was wondering how long can you keep the carbs in the cooler before cooking them. My husband and I are planning on taking a day trip to the cost, 3 hours away from home, will they last long enough to get home. Or should we cook them at the beach like you guys do? Oh, and I watch all your videos. And love them.

We've kept crabs alive for 24 hours in an ice chest with just a wet burlap bag over them but that was in the winter. In the summer we put ice in the chest and a burlap bag or towel on top of the ice and the crabs on top of the bag just don't leave them in heat long before putting them in the ice chest. If you have the time, like you said and cook them before you go home and put them on ice in plastic bags, then you can be sure they'll be ok. Good luck
