Like your videos but you need better lighting for your night videos

I’m tracking it’s been an issue. I’ve been trying some different things to try and get it right. It’s not as easy as one would think as I can see just fine out there when I’m fishing, but the cameras are a different story. I’ll keep working on it though so I appreciate the feedback and your patience.

Do those 3 oz weight keep the line from drifting all over the place?

It depends on the current speed. On the TN River, I would use a mix depending on the current speed that day. Most of time 3-4oz is fine and if your baits are in the faster areas 6oz is preferable. In Kansas, fishing the Missouri River, 6oz is the minimum weight I'll use because the current is pretty fast.

@@catfishcombat9188 thanks for replying. I fish the Brazos river in SE Texas. Having a hard time getting the right setup to hold the bottom. I just bought a Penn fierce 8000 looking for the proper rod and terminal tackle to pair it with.

I use a mix of rods. The Whisker Seeker rods I use are better for lakes or slow moving rivers as they are pretty light and have a faster tip. They don’t do very well in fast current with heavy weights. The B&M procat rods have more backbone and are a heavier set up plus they can tolerate current really well. The last rod is the H2O Express ProCat which is really stiff but great for current and has a very strong backbone plus it’s the most affordable of the three.
