April 15 here in southeast Idaho. Crappie in CJ Strike are still in the 25-40 fow. Water temp is 45-50°. Been a very windy, erratic, colder than usual spring. Needless to say the spawn is later than usual.

Hello Sam thanks for another great video. I have been fishing the nutbush creek area of kerr lake last week and i am having a hard time findind any crappie. I fished brush piles ,tryed drifting with multible rods and i fished shallow structure. Maybe the water is too clear and i am spooking them. Wish you would do a show in nutbush creek area of kerr lake and show me what i am doing wrong.😄 looking forward to another show .

If this is to use live scope. I'm unsubscribing...... I'm so tired of all the live scope videos. I saw a crappie fisherman make a video the other day about what color shirt to wear. Just what the heck does that have to do with fishin

So basically what your sayin is just use live scope.....ok well nothing else to learn from u. Dang. This sucks. I just wanna learn how to catch crappie. Not what is the "best" gear. This shows changed. I'm gone.

Nic, I hate that the only thing that you can take away from the video is that I utilize Live-Scope Technology. In the video twice I said where I found fish at and where I didn't find fish. I went over what colors work, and how deep the fish are, how to position your boat on a sunny day so not to spook fish.I go over the gear I use because I get asked that question on almost every video I release.I have been told by some subscribers that I have one of the most informative You-Tube channels out there. Tight lines!!

@@wildlifeadventures-13 ok fine. Imma come back. But please don't make it all bout live scope. We gotta hunt these fish like there deer.

@@wildlifeadventures-13 Absolutely! Color and presentation of bait for conditions is one of the best tips for beginners or even experience people just wanting to brush up. Especially after long breaks from fishing. It's why I always come back over and over to videos like this throughout transition and spawning season. There is so much info that it's easy to get forget and get tunnel vision. You just have to keep rehearsing over and over again. We are all faulty and I've done some really dumb things, like not even that long ago this year, fish for an hour on a particular trio of baits that were not optimized to the water clarity I was fishing in. I know better, I just had a brain fart. When it finally did dawn on me that I had forgotten to dip my glass in the water when I moved further up on the lake, it was pretty evident that they probably couldn't even see at least one of the baits I was throwing and instead would have had to rely on vibrations, and would have had quite a bit of trouble seeing the other one if it wasn't right in front of the face. I felt pretty silly, but you live and learn.
