The problem with shows like that they take away a lot your creative freedom. Richard makes great stuff on his own, let’s just support him here by watching and buying merch. More than likely if he did a show he might hate it, but you never know I suppose.

Richard, sir you are nothing short of an a absolute legend! Anyone can look at your life and take it as an example of how one should live life. And that’s before you ever even go fishing and teach and everyone the true old school ways that work. I just hope you know what you mean to everyone. It would be sad for you not to know how special you are.

Richard, I recently found your channel. I'm a pretty doggone good trout, steelhead and salmon fly fisherman. But, we left the (Left coast) Pacific NW to retire away from the insane politics, and moved to South Carolina where people are more normal and where my vote may count once in a while. I don't know much of anything about warm water fishing, but I'm aiming to learn. I will still go out West for a fishing trip each year, but you have helped me add a whole other dimension to my fishing. I never fished when it was this hot before! Thank you for all the tips. I caught my first Crappie the other day from a kayak based on your advice. You are the best. God Bless, brother.

I absolutely love learning and watching you and your wife enjoy fishing with each other. I love how simple you keep it, you don't go out and buy all the unnecessary stuff that people seem to get caught up in. I've learned a lot from watching your videos thanks . Thanks for showing us that you don't need all the ACC like a brand new bass boat,Garmin fish finder,$ 1,000 fishing rod/reel,and a new truck to pull the new boat 😂. I got away from fishing because I got tired of friends and family trying to keep up with Jones and it wasn't fun any more. I started fishing with my youngest son after 25 yrs and your videos helped out a bunch after being away for so long. My wife is my best friend and it's a breath of fresh air watching y'all enjoy each other presence.

Great video Richard. I've been going crappie fishing since I was born, literally. I can remember when I was 2-3 and I would get tired and fall asleep in the floor of Daddy's boat. We used to put Christmas trees in the lake in SC every year after Christmas for brush piles. Daddy always carried a blank check in his shirt pocket in case he was over the limit when the game wardens would stop and check to see how many fish we had in the boat. If we were over ,Daddy would pay the fine right then and we'd have to leave and if we were tearing the crappie up, it put a damper on things but if we were under the limit, as the game wardens pulled away, Daddy would start laughing and look at me with his eyes just sparkling with mischief, and he'd wink and say to me," They don't know how many trips we've made back to the landing and put the fish in coolers in the pickup..LOL AWESOME MEMORIES AND SUCH FUN!!! 🙏 I teased Daddy and told him I knew he was one of GOD'S fishermen as we always caught over the limit 😂🤗🙏🙌🙏
